  1. After reading 29 pages of rants and finger pointing, maybe we should take PPA , CSA and the respective clubs to task, governing bodies in SA are always keen to shirk responsibilities of its members, the responsibility not only lies with us as cyclists but these governing bodies mentioned. The behaviour of these goons should result in a ban of all events for life, irrespective of who was at fault.
  2. Don't particularly care how long you been riding, why don't you organise the next race, the let us decide just how well you have done, as I said in my post, there were plenty officers at the intersections, if you did not see them, then they obviously were tired of waiting for you and left.
  3. I don't know what race you were riding mate, but I saw many traffic officers on the route (80 k's), rather than complain, just don't ride in any races.
  4. Sounds like a dam fine idea, keep us posted please Trench, really keen to join U.
  5. What about removing the saddle
  6. Then we wonder why tacks are thrown on the road in the cradle. @ Zilla, no it is not a downhill, secondly, why what? are they entitled to ride like idiots, is this the way it is done in slaap stadt.
  7. Hi Andydude, I will be doing the race
  8. Hi, yes you can, but at the moment not advisable due to road works just before the freeway, the road there is really terrible.
  9. Hi "dude", would love to have joined you, but down with the flu. To get to the cradle is easy, from 14th Ave get onto Hendrik Potgieter & drive towards Krugersdorp, pass Makro on your right drive on until you get a MAJOR intersection R14 PTA Highway, turn right at the robot, drive +- 5 Kms you will get the Muldersdrift turn off, just after you have taken the turn of, you will see a restaurant on your right, most of us leave our cars there, the route you tke is pretty much up to you, you will obviously have to start your ride from the retsuarant.
  10. I am thinking of getting into Mountain Biking, what I would like to know is "Besides the obvious- rear shock"what are the differences between Hardtail & Softail. What are the benefits of a hardtail over softail or visa versa.
  11. Is this for only trail riding - no roadies?
