I am playing with my Disc Road bike for the first time this week. Coming down Chappies just feels safer. This blows my hair back.

Prednisone (in this scenario) could be used for any condition that you would use Celebrex, Myprodol, Voltaren etc. etc. for. It has many more side-effects but it very powerfull. I have personally used it in scenarios where I would definitely be found guilty of doping if tested. Example: I pitched up at W2W with a severe back ache. Used a mean mix of drugs. Finished and enjoyed. Illegal for sure. If they wanted to test me I would refuse and take the punishment - save them the money and time. Even used in creams for saddle sores. Not saying it was the case here - he was doping for sure. Just answering the question.

Berto was very lucky/ had good lawayers. Clen is NOT explained easily. Prednisone is very commonly used though.

I still had a bit of a negative vibe going so I went out again and rode the hell out of my legs to Llandudno and back (no pre race spinning like this morning) - now I am back. Bring on CTCT Special Edition!!!

It has got to be Houtbaai and back. It will be packed all day. I will sleep in but will have to be back to spend Gauteng dollahs at the Expo. I will leave 8 ish from the CTICC I think.

Jip. I will be one of the thousands cycling over to Houtbaai. Is it still possible/ advisable? I am struggling for an idea to show my solidarity (Fireman's' helmet is not an option) - suggestions?

The roads are reopened at 13:00. There is no extra time. Half the distance, half the time allowed.

And where would all these people cycle? On a 47km stretch? Those that have paid aren't even allowed a second lap because of congestion.

@Wyatt: Auction your back wheel for next year. Do the second lap for fun and have the weekend for free. Howzat for capitalism?

Packing my stuff. Had it all worked out for 230km of cycling. Bought stuff I don't need to use on the 2nd lap (helping). Maps, time cards, food, seconding etc. all prepared. A year of working to get the right seeding. Feeling a bit blue tonight. It is an expensive weekend with 2 days of not working thrown in. I will come and make the best of it but I no matter how you look at it - for some of us this chance may not be available again. Definitely a sense of loosing something. Aah well, the bigger picture...

Jip. I will also be hoping for a PROPER wind. Not that breeze they normally have at this race. I am having my first big glass of red now.
