    If I follow (likely I don't) you are saying that if a substance exist that is a true PE but they can't test for it, or they don't know that a lab developed it then it should be legal to use. Blood doping (traditional method) is easily detected.

    You guys are kidding right? Do you really think they must test every steak, pharmacist dispensing tray and all concotions made by every charlatan that ever dreamt up a booster? What is the fixation on supplements? If there was a product that can prevent flu etc. - what would Discovery or the US government save by giving it out for free? If they give a list and you get the newest stuff from Nepal, how must they keep up? Fact is the supplement/ alternative medicine market is unregulated and not aimed at be accurate in claims or process. Take it and take risks.

    Not defending him (I am very pissed at him) but he took it on the chin. Did not request B sample. Did not waste resources with an appeal. Did his time. He complied with the rules. I don't like the rules but what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

    What a reality check for me! I knew I was unfit at Sun City but I hoped I am coming back to form. The first sign was when I weighed myself and it was up. Still I hoped that somehow things will be OK. 3:06 later I know a few things 1. Jip that wind does count. 2. I am overweight 3. I am unfit 4. The new route is NOT easy. Now to curl up and whimper. Oh yes:... and the Boks are kuk!

    I shipped my bike down to the Cape 10 days before W2W last year. When it became clear that we would be riding in heavy rain and mud I asked the LBS to suggest and fit a tyre. The new Onza Canis had 2 punctures and a sidewall cut on day 1. Never used it again. Geax or Schwalbe only now.
