    I am ecstatic!! On 17 May I will be in Riccione when the race passes through on a flat stage. 3 days before my own big ride of the year (Nove Colli). Karma is good right now!!!

    Also I doubt you need to worry about chain retention in front. Those teeth look plenty long.

    Me too. Maybe adjust the B-screw then to prevent rub in the smallest gear (said with a tremor in the voice).

    The loss of income and brand damage must be huge. Also the opposition will be coming online more and more so the advertising expense will be wasted. In my world we get harshly punished for "underpeforming". How does it work in this realm?

    In true Hub tradition it would be good to speculate on who (IT) is to blame. We like naming and shaming. I honestly believe CWC did what they thought was needed to avoid this. Somebody lied or underperformed. Come on IT fundis- find us the culprit while we wait.

    Great event again. Hot as hell today... Those loose/scraped surfaces made day 2 "special". The recent veld fires made for a post- apocalypse type feeling at times. A must do race.

    I have had all manners of gremlin dealings with CWC (I spend a bit there) NEVER did I receive the short end of the stick.

    Only a few days left before Hell and Back. I am hoping there will be no pushing due to either bad legs or road surface.

    Obviously that is very bad. Luckily they sorted that out quickly. Most of the riders didn't experience those problems. I am just glad that they didn't cancel or shorten or stop the race.

    I still have a 11 at the back. Yesterday's top speed was 72km/h. For Joe average a compact crankset makes sense.

    After finishing a lekker dag out I cycled a loop around Hatfield and went up Tom Jenkins again. Not a single person was riding it. My riding in Italy taught me to ignore the ego. I ride a compact with 32 at the back. Spin out at roughly 75km/h. Us Saffas like suffering. I will be doing the same at Hell and Back - spin up the steep stuff.

    Getting in and out of Voortrekker Monument wil be a nightmare. Be Warned. I will cycle from home. 12km to warm up.

    I have only good things to say about G-One and hydraulic disc brakes. From Suikerbosrand to Riccione and the Nove Colli they have served me well. Enjoy!
