    Hell you really missed the point and still insisted on grinding ahead. You know how there is a generation of cellphones termed smartphones? Well the same applies here. It is a classification. You either fulfill the criteria or not. I suspect your bike doesn't. Do you?

    My CycleOps has been used so much that the crank arms are rusted. No problems. Any technical questions gets sorted with one phone call. That's all folks!

    I will have to go look back at my Garmin but we thought it would be mostly Gravel grinding. Nice parts with hand built trails and enough surprises to keep you focused. Enough climbing to keep you honest. It fitted just right with an experienced middle of the packer.

    That is exactly the thing. Family and no unpacking and packing daily. I think it is great value and my family too. Last year I underestimated this ride (my partner and I have done many multistage races together - so not a noob mistake).

    I am going back for my second. Middle of the packer. Enjoyed it so much that I gave up Sani2c for this. Honest value for money. Definitely not only for beginners!!!

    I have done it many times. It is like a time trial. Good test of fitness. Very little skills required. Mostly dirtroady stuff. I will be there.

    Pic not uploading. Took my 75y old dad for his first loop around Groenkloof. Even the sables came out to play. Magic.

    We are many things, but light is not one of them.

    I hope that is the case. I can (unfortunately) believe that they could bungle up something as important as that. It will also explain the bizarre sentence.

    Masking agent. Used normally for hypertension, cardiac failure, pulmonary oedema and other conditions that are highly unlikely to be diagnosed in a top athlete. I wonder whether an inept pharmacist isn't contaminating medication....

    I had a valuable morning at Groenkloof. Peach is a great teacher and a very skilled rider. I learnt as much watching him riding as I did from the direct teaching. This outride style of learning suits me (unfortunately I am always holding the rest up- so it is not always true for everyone) but I plan on twisting his arm again. I will attempt to attend some of the other courses soon. Thx Peach PS: It was nice to meet fellow Hubbers. It is nice to put a face to the name.

    I have had only bad dealings with BRC and always left feeling as if I wasted their time. They were not interested in selling my first bike so I haven't bought any of my other 9 from them either. I have bought from Buycycle before and they first delivered all the bits that I only ordered as an afterthought and THEN told me that the main part I was looking for isn't available anymore. I certainly don't want to be involved in that marriage.
