  2. so is it worth wile taking a chance if I carry a spare tube, the tyres are basically brand new, done 60km, would hate to replace them now with tubeless tyres??? R 1500 as opposed to R 500?

  4. Hi Guys, Need some advice on washing my bike. Where am I allowed to use the hose pipe to sray / rinse and where not? I use the normal hose pipe fitting that you can close/adjust to give a fine / wide spray or a narrow / strong stream of water - is this too much pressure, could I danmage bearings etc? How do I lube the bike again after each wash and what do I use? I have a full suspension carbon bike. Thank you.

Still feel you should try all the various disciplines, I have access to a pretty decent carbon dual suspension bike, might be a ball hair too big but we can remedy that with the set up, come take it for a spin - you need to ride the different bikes and see what works and where you feel most comfi!   8. Take it to Epic sports - awesome service! Depends on where and how you ride and if you lube the bike after a wash etc. They are in Jean ave, cnr lenchen - there is a Spar and Dros in the same centre. Their prices very good as well!

  11. Hi there, Sorry for replying to such an old post - I am looking at buying this exact same frame and fork and building the bike up with my Scott aspect 10 components. I do all the local races, 40km and enjoy technical riding as well - could you recommend this bike? I ak a little concerned about the weight over long distances?   14. Ok, so how about I buy a second hand Giant VT2 frame (2005) with 3 way swinger shock and manitou minute fork and build it up with the Scotts components, will that be a cool bike? I ride XS as well as groenies and rosemary hill

  17. Hi There, I have an almost brand new Scott aspect 10 2012 - done 400km, ridden by a rookie, so not ridden hard. I have tried to sell the complete bike, went as low as R 6500 - no takers, must be winter! Pls could someone advise on how to break down the bike, which components to sell together and more or less what to charge. attached all the specs.   20. Ok , so my question is two fold - Firstly I am looking at buying a Giant trance X frame and wouod like to complete the bike with all the components from my 2012 Scott Aspect 10. Will all the components fit? (the Giant frame comes with rear shock but no fork) The Aspect's components in a nut shell - Rock shox recon silver air fork, fr dr deore rear dr XT deore shifters, scott hubs, seatpost and handle bars. And is the Giant trance x a good frame?
