  1. Awesome race, only the 50km turned out to be a 45km that turned out to be a 40km. Nice route, was quite fast!
  2. Cool, looking forward to it, will be my first ride at NF
  3. In for the 50km, do you know if we can collect entries there tomorrow?
  4. I weigh exactly the same as you and have a Spark 950, loving the bike! Better check those bearings!
  5. When you get that guinneafowl, here is an awesome recipe! Throw the following in a three leg potjie on the fire: 2x Chopped tomatoes 1x Celery stick - chopped 1x Med onion - chopped 2tsps lemon juice 1tsp salt 1tsp black pepper 2l chicken stock Brown all the ingredients and then add the stock and the Guinneafowl. Place a large rock on top of the guinnea fowl to make sure it remains submerged in the stock. Boil for three hours. After three hours, throw the guinnea fowl away and eat the rock, the rock will be more tender than the guinnea fowl.
  6. Dude, believe me all these scamsters operate from Houghton, that address does not exist - I checked.
  7. I actually want to replace the battery - mine is playing up.
  8. Doe anyone know where I can have my Garmin serviced in the Centurion/Pta area? Thank you
  9. Keep the following in mind: 1. Make sure the bike is the right size - NNB! 2. Do you have an idea of what type of riding you are going to be doing? 3.Make very sure when buying a second hand bike, maybe take someone along with good knowledge of the type of bike you will be looking at.
  10. Just go tubeliss - problem solved!
  11. What a classic! I can actually still remember when bicycles had to be licensed!
  12. Siiting "inside" the bike instead of on top of it is the best description I have heard, only those who have ridden a 29er would understand, and I am not being malicious - it just is a great feeling! Enjoy the new bike and start watching your times on your normal route, I took three minutes of my best time for my mid week neighbourhood ride with the 29er.
  13. 1.Squirt 2.Squirt 3.Squirt
  14. Thanks guys, I must say I used to use Bat seal - I have not replaced the tyres, but cleaned them out and replaced with Ryder as the batseal was solid - so far I can report that the tyres are keeping pressure better than with the batseal. Will report back in a month or so and will check the sealant after the first bomb. Thanks for the feedback though
  15. Hi Guys, Can anyone confirm the claims that the above sealant will not solidify when a co2 bomb is used to inflate the tyre?
  16. I just filled my tyres with Ryder's new latex sealant, apparently this does not solidify with co2 bombs.
  17. would also like to know where to buy this shirt
