Some feedback, I kept the area dry with baby powder for two days and did not cycle at all. Then used the sample that came in the goody bag for the 94.7 - and after 55km in the saddle no problem what so ever!!!!
Spoke to the race office this morning, subs can be made at waterfall estate today or tomorrow. Cost is R 50, I think it is wise to have your medical details linked to your race number - you never know!
Ok, so recently (now its nice and warm) been struggling with sore bum due to chaffing. What can be done to prevent this? I cycle without undies, is this advisable? Thx
Too true Bianchi, getting the Ralph back on required the neighbors compressor, not nearly as easy as the Conti. Also the Conti has kept it's pressure, I've had to inflate the Ralph twice now. Will add a little more sealant today and take it for a ride.
Hi Guys, I just replaced my front tyre (Racing Ralph 2.1) with a Conti 2.2. Question 1 - what is the difference between the 2.1 and 2.2? Question 2 - the idea was to run the Racing Ralph I took off the front in the back. Will it be a problem that the rear will now be a 2.1 and the front a 2.2? Can I run this combo for a while or should I immediately replace the rear with a 2.2 as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Martin
Awesome race - did the 30km and it was the most tiring 30km I have done to date! Great single track and some nice surprizes like the floating bridges. Does anyone know where results will be posted?
Are there any other 2-3 day stage races that are easier to get into that anyone can suggest? Is it worthwile entering , or are the chances just tooo slim?
