Where does Franschhoek climb from (the dam side) fit in? I always die on that climb, it seems to go on for years.

I must agree with EL. I've always said on our novice level, its not the bike. Its the rider. Its called TITS my friend, time in the saddle.

Do not buy fogger pepper spray, buy direct stream only. The fogger can get blown by the wind and may come into contact with ur own eyes.

Try some fullers earth powder. You can get it at ur local chemist, its under 20 bucks. U would want to stay away from creams etc as it is moist, dry it out it will heal quicker.

I started at 103kgs. Currently 84kgs from cycling. I remember your pain, tough on the climbs but super fast downhill. You will be fine on the hoops, just watch on Chappies decent and Suikerbossie Decent. Oh of course the start line for some reason the wind howls through that piece.
