The giant's a mtbike, and I'm using the normal 9spd hub. but on the fixie I have a 44/16. were I'm using a flipflop hub. that also has no brakes, so the legs do the stoping.

I'm doing the same to my giant now, I'm keeping the 44 tooth crank ring. Then I'm leaving a 21 on the back. trying to not use the tensioner. the bikes are pilling up.

I should stay out of bike shops.... I found a "viner" track frame today, so the bike count's up to five... About that ride, I recon one sunday morning in town.

What was he motivation behind the colour? It looks cool. I found a set of weels yesterday, flip-flophub with new gatorskins on, and ready to go in black. Now I need to paint the frame and don't know what to do. All the acsent pieces comes in red. So black's my first choice. Are whe going to get a ride together sometime or the other?

I have no need for it, But that meanstaking of the bartape and alot of work I don't feel like doing on a roadbike. Do you get a double sided magnet? So bring your bike over to my house, I'll do it for you. This is silly looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't even have to exist. I have seen guy's use the combo before, I just want to know how? Not get into a tiff with the nutswingers around this place. So, do you know? I have a 9 speed ultegra with flight deck and I'm running my polar of the same wheel. How do I get them to stop interfeering with each other? Some of the reedings are doubled.

How does this sound like foe a theme to my rebuild? Stealth bomber... Flat black frame with glos black grafics, black weels, euro style tt bars, red bartape, pedals, and seat inlay?
