  4. Guy's, I need your input on the route that i use for the 60km event. This was allways a double lap of the 30 km The new route is a distance of 35km although Google earth is giving it as 33Km. For the long route i can either still keep it a 2 lap race or cut a 5km section out of the route. What do you guy's want to race. Cheers Clive

  6. Busy with the long route, will upload profile later Entries can be done through www.waterpoint.co.za, or log onto www.eventry.co.za and process your entry there. Please note the venue has changed, it is now 2km east of the Lemlou Security grounds still on the R 513. The usual great hospitality will still be provided. See you Clive
  7. 15 Km New Route
  8. 30 Km New route,
  9. Event Name: Vori-Berg MTB Race When: 11 August 2012 Where: Cycad Nursery, 2km East of previous venue on R513, Gauteng Category: MTB The next Vori-Berg is on the 11th August. There have been a couple of changes to our event. Firstly we have moved our starting venue to the Cycad Nursery which is 2Km east of the existing Lemlou Security Grounds on the R513. As the name says you will now be able to leave either mommy or daddy to browse the nursery to get your garden looking great again after the winter months. Secondly we will no longer ride along the R513 to start and finish the race, this was becoming just to dangerous for us and we need to look at the sfatey of the participants. Great news is that we have added a new section of track which should add 5km to the route, this is some lovely singletrack with a few sharp climbs. All info is still available on www.waterpoint.co.za I will be riding the route and should have some profiles up later next week. Look forward to seeing all of you again for a great race. Cheers Clive Go to Event Page

  13. Back in the day i worked for a construction company during school holidays. The developer had bought our farm and subsequently the birth of Theresapark in the north of pretoria was created. After finsihing with them i had enough cash to buy a Peugeot Lion 10 speed as in the picture, mine was blue. The first change was to reduce the size of the mudguards so that i could wheelie this machine. loved it till my grandfather bought me a Raleigh racing bike gold in color. Brings back good memories of the earlier days
