I took a ride on the Braamfontein spruit this afternoon and was stopped by a guy who said two cyclists were high-jacked at about 5pm towards the N1 highway (close to the area where they are working on the highway) Has anyone heard anything???

CSA (Cycling South Africa) is the correct place for this. It should not be kept by a commercial timing company. It needs to be neutral and get info from the two main timing companies (and any other timing company that might appear in the future)<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> It needs to be national and not regional and should not prejudice anyone who might only have a WT chip and not CC or the other way around

There should be only one national seeding index and it should be owned by CSA. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The problem is that they don?t have the ability to do this. The only system that has been tested and kept up to date is the Cyclelab system. As mentioned, it also gets info from both Winning Time and Champion chip.

Although the race is a UCI race, only the first group that left at 5:45 was a UCI mens group. All other racing catogries were normal CGC events and were not part of UCI.
