Don't think you can go wrong with either. The pedal mount supports the bike, the other mounts are just levelers (so pay attention if you want the bikes to be parallel) to the floor.

I think the max the points goal can reach is 1200 points. Mine hovers around that levels. Also they changed the requirements for points. You would probably need two solid 3hr efforts to reach a 3000 points goal from 1 April.
