  1. So, you mean not Evans, wiggins and menchov? Would have suited Contador and Andy. Maybe Rolland, Tejay and Froome can show us what legs they have?
  2. I think Garmin is now 4 down.
  3. ****No! RobbieHunter Might as well hear it from me.I couldn't start, got stress fractures in a vertebrae & its progressively gotten worse.Hugely disappointed!!!
  4. I love it. You have to tell people not to masturbate in public. And we think we have problems in SA?
  5. No, false alarm. I picked up this Christiaan Kriek (RSA) Jelly Belly Cycling At The Tour of Qinghai Lake.
  6. Yeah, I picked a Greef or something in the results the other day. One of these boys?
  7. Yeah, I love him just for that attitude.
  8. Little bit. Couldn't bend knee for over a month. You'd be surprised at how much that ruins your walking ability.
  9. Broken kneecap.
  10. Any other Italian frame, I'd agree. There's just something about a Binx with Di2 that is insanely sexy.
  11. When I was learning how to walk again a few years back, cycling was part of my physical therapy.

  14. Why stop there? Merckx, Coppi, Thevenet, (Pollentier probably would have won if he wasn't caught with someone else's piss under his arm), Anquetil, Aimar, Delgado, Fignon. The list is endless. And if you really want to go this route, take a look at the pre 1950's Tours.
  15. I like it. Let the results stand with an asterisk next to their name, and let it be.
  16. Current top three of the Young Riders: 1 Tejay van Garderen (USA) BMC Racing Team 29:22:46 2 Peter Sagan (Svk) Liquigas-Cannondale 0:00:09 3 Rein Taaramae (Est) Cofidis, Le Credit En Ligne 0:00:12 Taaramae and Tejay can win this race overall one day. Sagan Is like a Boonen or Gilbert. Or a Museeuw if you will...
  17. Are you nuts? No way he will gain time on Tejay in the TT's or the mountains. FYI, Tejay is one of my outside bets for the GC this year. Come, Oom, you know enough not to tout this astrophysicist as a GC contender...

    Formula 1...

I can't stop crying when I read these new updates. And I know she's doing better, but I still feel sick. Maria de Villota has been taken off the critical list after having further surgery following her serious accident while testing for Marussia on Tuesday. The Spaniard is now in a "serious but stable" condition in light of the operation at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge required for her facial injuries. The 32-year-old was testing at Duxford Airfield when the accident, which resulted in her losing her right eye, occurred. A Marussia statement read: "This was a planned procedure that would depend upon the continued stability of Maria's head injuries. "Whilst Maria remains acutely ill, this confirms she has been responding well to the treatment she has received since her accident." Marussia statement Quotes of the week "This morning the medical team were sufficiently happy with her progress to allow the operation to go ahead. Next phase "The surgeons successfully completed the next phase of surgery required to address Maria's facial injuries. "After the lengthy initial procedure, which commenced on Tuesday and concluded on Wednesday, today's secondary operation took significantly less time. "Since the operation today, Maria's condition in relation to the head trauma she received has further improved, to the extent that she is now serious but stable. "Whilst Maria remains acutely ill, this confirms she has been responding well to the treatment she has received since her accident. "Coupled with the significant progress that has been made with regard to her facial injuries, we feel sufficiently comfortable to proceed with a further update. "On a more personal note, we have taken a great deal of encouragement from today's developments and the rather more positive signs for Maria's family."
  19. Good plan, old man.
  20. Watch the vids V posted and compare your setup.
  21. Bugger. I also said that.
  22. That's why I asked for a pic. If he has a gap at the top of the fork, the crown race is either missing or not installed correctly.
  23. Not all about weight.
  24. pics, or a breakdown of the kit would help?
  25. Ya, you're a tool. But there are valid reasons why the pros run a stripped setup.
