Hi Chris, I bought a second ravo for 10K, spent a couple more on pedals and saddles. Second hand tantems seem to be in short supply so I would not worry about recovering your cash if things do not pan out. It is great fun and believe me you get a good workout if your stoker is not as strong as you. Our first tandem race was the lost city and we managed to hang in with the lead bunch up to the 45km mark. It was real good fun while it lasted. All the best with your tandem endeavours, give it your best shot.

I believe yet another cyclist was knocked down and killed by a drunken driver near Carnival City on Sunday morning. Has anyone heard of this incident? Our prayers go out to his family and friends.
