My personal opinion that little oil on the top of the seal is normal and just needs to be cleaned after each ride. I have read that correctly designed stanchions have a surface texture that allows a film of oil to by pass the seal to keep it lubricated. My Fox F80 have always leaked a small amount of oil from day one, and the same after the first service where I replaced the oil and fitted new seals. All Fox replacement parts.

Check the not so obvious. Double check the new cable installation. Cable or housing could be kinked. We are all human and make mistakes. You can also check that the rear wheel is located correctly in the frame. I once found the centralising spring on the skewer was installed back to front and got caught between the axle and frame.

Im no expert, but they do not look warn to me. I have done over 5000 km on mine, original cassette is due to be replaced, second chain due to be replaced and original jockeys due to be replaced. My chain rings still look good, however I clean and lube after every ride.
