  5. What is also sad is that is the reality of our country, we all need to help with a new consciousness to say no to corruption. The villians who beat this man to death will also not be brought to justice because they rule their community with fear, thus nobody will have enough courage to come foward to identify them. The fact is, they will be out on R500 bail within a week looking for revenge on the tattle tale. It's a viscious circle, no wonder more incidents of street justice are emerging.
  6. What SA lacks is good leadership. We are being run by a bunch of power hungry baffoons who are lining their pockets at the expense of the citizens of our country. The government of a country aere in fact the employees of the citizens. We pay their salaries. The uninformed masses go to the polls once in 4 years and draw a cross next to the only familiar face. And there is also the fear factor. 'If you dont vote for the ANC we'll come and get you, or the Tokolosh will!!!!' I've seen some crime scene photos of farm murders, and I agree, these murderous bastards cannot be seen as animals, animals kill for survival, these things kill because they are drivven by sadistic hatred for their fellow human beings. Doesn't matter what the color of your skin is, if you can do that to another human being you should be removed from society. I think the people of SA should start standing up to the government and demand that they deliver on all the empty promise that they have been making
  7. LOL, especially on day 2
  8. Think I'll go ride my bike now. Politics makes my head hurt.
  9. If you wanna go Conti, you can look at the mountain king or race king. I had Race King back and Mountain king Front for S2C and it worked pretty well. Not much grip in the mud with race King though
  10. Does E500 give altitude profilr as well?
  11. Quoting from the official JZ biography that is available on the ANC webpage 'Owing to his deprived childhood, Jacob Zuma did not receive any formal schooling.'
  12. The problem with South Africans is just this. I can't change them so I'll just keep quiet. If everybody started voicing their opininions about these idiots, maybe something will happen
  13. The problem in our country is a lack of vision and leadership. We have a president who doesn't have matric, he has a sidekick who he can't control with just as bad an education. We all go o the polls every 4 years with the hope that the masses will not be intimidated by the green yellow and black machine, but every time we end up with s**t on our faces. why not have a selection process for politicians. Minimum requirement pHD in political science and then work from there. Will you apoint JZ to head up your multimillion dollar corporation, why should he head up a multimillion dollar country. He is after all the CEO. For more on bad management read rapport articel about ' wys my jou rioolplaas dan wys ek jou myne' its a real eye opener to the corruption that and mismanagement that is ruining our once proud and prosperous country.
  14. Forerunner 405cx. but its a bit pricey
  15. Apparently emotions are running high in Ventersdorp. Police have seperated the AWB from the black community at the Court house. Hope these guys dont get bail. Will be very bad press for SA if self confessed murderers get bail. What kind of message is this sending to the International press about SA being safe for WC2010?
  16. Thanks, will have a look. Any thoughts on 405cx?
  17. As k blou-bul knaters aan die mongoose hang sal hulle seker my knaters op 'n paal voor die parlement hang....
  18. LOL. thanx.
  19. Hi all, I'm looking to get a Garmin fitness computer, but not looking for cycling computer only, looking for gps enabled fitness machine, which is better?
  21. Nice pics. we came in bit later. Official pics on Actionphoto.net
  22. Well, I had to take the commentator's word for it that Lange won it. Hope the 'Official broadcaster' of the 2010 World cup has a contingency plan. Todays coverage was horrible. I've seen better stuff on youtube
  23. Lange took it in the sprint. Burry 4th. LA 9th.The argument about "tired" GIRO legs doesn't hold water. Burry did SANI2C, finished on saturday. Started GIRO on Monday finished 4th today. This is what these guys do for a living. and he's gonna shine in EPIC as well.
  24. Me and my partner spent about 15-20 minutes after stag to check the bikes and lube where needed. If your bike is properly serviced beforehand I don't think you should need a mechanic to sort out minor mechanical problems during the race, as for the stand, no sias didn't take it with. didn't fit in the box
  25. I was also at Sani2c, and did all the maintenance on my bike myself, you get coments from guys about backyard mechanics and stuff. At least I know that my bike is good working condition. You cant go to such an event without mechanical knowledge. If you dont have the mech knowhow a service plan is the best bet, because the bikes take a beating in a race like that. Especially on day 2 in that mud for the firts 30-40km. My experiences with Cyckle lab hasn't been gr8 either. I bought myself a small toolkit and built a mechanic stand and do all the minors myself. You pick it up pretty quickly
