Good day hubbers. I have a steel mtb frame and would like to know if I can mod it to a disc brake frame. This is for the rear brake. What would I need and can this be done? Any info will help

With regards to the merida, I do have one(now the wifes bike) and was looking for something new. With regards to the wheels, the spez has roval rims and hi lo hubs they are heavy and the hubs are not great. I bought the bike for everything exept the wheels as I have a set of ztr crest with fire eye hubs that will go on the bike to replace the roval wheels
