  2. With the above set up I would say sub 11kg, guess about 10.8kg for a medium.
  3. There is apparently somewhere on the efilling site where you can select instigating High Court proceedings. Then things move along very quickly.
  4. somewhere between 50k-60k
  5. They both pedal normally as in forward( the direction they looking in). All they did was use one long chain for the whole system and loop the chain under the stokers crankset instead of over it. Its a bit dodgy only having a few teeth meshing with the chain, hence the guide wheel on the frame but hey it worked.
  6. We passed them second lap going up Witkoppen, would hate to be the stoker on a down hill.
  7. Apparently there was a mistake with the results and BMS got 3rd.
  8. In short. Elite is the SA's Pro's Racing licensed riders aged 18-29 but can be older. (still need to qualify with your race seeding). VA racing licensed riders aged 30-35 (still need to qualify with your race seeding). VB racing licensed riders aged 35-40 (still need to qualify with your race seeding). Etc, Some of the smaller races combine VA & VB into one VA batch. The issue is that these are two different racing batches riding two separate races. You could write a book on how they could influence each others race outcomes thus the neutrality till they have passed one another. This is applied to all racing batches.
  9. Pitty it's so late in the day. I know a strong KZN boy who has been on the bluff team last two years but missed the boat this year. but has big fomo and was super keen.
  10. I have also heard the whispers but haven't crossed paths yet to confirm.
  11. See they have recruited the 94.7 champ but not sure if brad will be riding after his crash on Sunday.
  12. Yes: news came out a while ago keeping 18 teams for 2017/2018. http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/racing/18-teams-2017-uci-worldtour-including-dimension-data-298663
  13. If you have more than 4 guys its faster to just keep rolling through. If we have +10 then then you defiantly don't want to be doing 1min all out on the front because as you peel of and the next guy roles through the pace naturally lifts and if this is on a slightly harder section like rolling into a climb or accelerating over the top you will get guys popping of the back. Would rather have a contently slow rotating train where it's about 10sec's from the time the rider in front of you pulls off to the time when the rider behind you pulls of in front of you.
  14. You mean "The BikeHub A-Team" kit.We can go round saving lone riders and pulling back evil attacks everywhere.[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]
  15. I can add 2nd and 3rd from a batch if they are around.
  16. I'm in , not sure when the next feasible race is but I'll postpone my return to hanging on the back of the elites for a little while longer.
  17. As Ryan said sort of but nothing compared to the elite's or what you see on tv. If there is a brake then the guys will get a pace line going and work together to bring it back. But most of the time the guys are just riding high tempo with the odd surge in strategic places in order to string out the bunch, make everyone work and make sure no one gets a free ride. Classic example was Anton going to the far right of of he road and putting the hammer down as we turned on to Summit Road. This forced everyone to ride in the gutter as it got single file very quickly and there was no place to hide from the wind.
  18. Can't see individual activities but had a look at your overall stats. looking at your training I think you might have gone out a bit to hard and thus suffered towards the end. An increase in training will help in this regard, seeing as it pretty flat in boksburg you could concentrate on doing more climbing as for the same weekly distance I get a least double the climbing. 3 weeks is a long time before to ease up, Normally the last week is easy with Tuesday being the last day any interval is done. With not being able to stick with the big groups. Do you train in a group or on your own?
  19. Ouch!!! Did you race with a sore head as well?
  20. Hence my asking, I am the same age and weight but 188cm. Also have a buddy who hits 180bpm just swinging a leg over a bike. How was your training build-up to race day and the week of the race?
  21. That's quite a high Avg HR, Is this normal or were you going flat out?
  22. Those are some impressive numbers!!! especially the second lap time on a MTB. We did 3:10 with a 5-10 min stop but were hauling a$$.
  23. A 2:40 at 94.7 would give you a good chance at a sub 3 Argus the weather on the day play's a very big role. This year only 886 riders did a sub 3 and that was in about as good as you get conditions.
  24. The Bluff boy's have been sharpening the blade, only time will tell.
  25. Going back a few years the elite's caught the racing tandems in the Sun City race and I heard figures of 127km/h being thrown around!!!
