    For top level XC a Pike is just too heavy, DT Swiss internals are way better than Giants offering. I used to be a huge Scott fan but they have lost me over the last few years. It started for the DT Swiss suspension then too many of there frames & wheels breaking and finally there pricing and support. 2 years ago the top S-Works Venge with a Quorq PM standard was R165k the top Foil was R170k without a PM and Scott SA didn't even bother bringing in the top 2 bikes there where special order. Scott use the same OEM Hubs as Spaz and the RC SL is $10000 or $6000 for the Frame & Fork.

    Spaz is $9000 So I know which one I would choose for only $250 more. Plus the Anthem spec is off (Pike up front and Giant hubs are not for me on a Pro level XC race bike).

    Yes There top model is a 27.5, still has a Alu rear triangle and that's $8750.

    Sorry but you cannot compare it to an Anthem. Cannondale's top offering is 190k and Santa Cruz is about 180k so all in I think the price is not to bad.

    I also had XX/XO mix and only went to a custom XX1 setup (11-45) 6 months ago. For me there was no real reason to move away from 2x10 as I race mostly marathons. I only moved over to 1X11 due to my 2x10 stuff starting to show its age and staring to need replacing. Plus I got my 1X11 for a steal. For me the benefits are weight. One less this to go wrong. The Clutch & X-Horizon RD.

    Well on that point apparently they are not seeking any financial remuneration or legal case against anyone. Only for his name to be cleared but have spent a lot of money fighting this already.

    I'm also of the opinion that any one can draw up a letter and sign it, a piece of paper means noting to me, I need to hear if from the doc himself.

    Nope, was busy riding my bike and to be honest I couldn't be bothered. Sick and tired of the same record being played over and over. Ty is taking it further with lawyers from what I was told but only time will tell.

    I agree, he even offered to show me "proof" in the form of a letter from the Doc which he was carrying in his pocket.

    Happened to bump into someone extremely close to this issue on a ride a few days ago and his explanation was that Ty was given the wrong drip. There was a mix up between what he was meant to be given and some other IV bags left over form something to do with AIDS. There is defiantly more to this as he got a reduced sentence for some reason. Time will tell.

    There's no time for luxuries like showers????. You either riding or sleeping or maybe eating but that you try to do on the bike.

    I will see what I can do when she gets back from holiday in the new year. One insight I can tell you is that she didn't change kit once but when the kit finally did come off it took a layer of skin with it!!!

    She has to stop and out a tube in, then at the next stop replaced the whole tyre. She ended up pulling 15mins back on Heinrich. There just wasn't enough distance left to catch up.
