  1. Or you could just machine the 10spd freehub slightly to accommodate the 11spd cassette.
  2. I found the flight levels a little odd, on the A380 we were at FL410 but on the 777-300er only FL360 I did check service ceiling and both are FL430. Any reason why the 777 would be flying so low?
  3. I'm sure I read about that somewhere. We felt nothing, but then it was also an amazing day over the alps and the sky looked like a chess board with all the contrails hanging around, so it could have been there for a few mins before we went through it.
  4. A few months ago on a A380 from DXB to CDG we flew slap bang through the contrails of another jet at 90° it was quite something to see vortex coming off the wing. We also had a little drag race with a private jet (I couldn't make out exactly what) but we lost.
  5. Well I can tell you that's not gonna happen. He's just signed for another 3 years. Oh and as for the qualifying crash, he lost time all the way down afterwards because there were some sections that he wasn't prepared to try boost/double with wet muddy gloves/grips.
  6. Haha, it helps when you used to work for the guy.
  7. I prefer the real deal. I'm 186cm and know the man in question very well so when you stand eye to eye I doubt his forehead has 5cm on mine.
  8. There is no way greg is 191cm more like 188cm on a good day.
  9. Reports are that it was in fact the water tanks on the roof that broke and not the pool.
  10. There is a way to manually adjust the brake strength through the normal fitness app by tapping brake strength 5 times. I had to do this after waiting hours trying to get it calibrated. The only downside is that the trainer does not remember the new number so if you disconnect the power you need to change the value again.
  11. Just finished the 10am event, managed to bag 6th but think my Snap is playing up as my avg was about 20w over FTP so I recon it was over reading slightly. There were also a few spikes of +1000w which I defiantly wasn't doing
  12. I-Cycle got absorbed by Compendium/Bidvest. I have been with them from the start and am a happy customer, I have had 5/6 claims in resent years and have never had an issue. They are the only company along with Cyclesure to my knowledge that cover racing at Pro/Elite/Age Cat. level something to do with winning prize money. They are also the only ones who will insure you for new replacement value on bikes older than 3 years. I'm currently paying R2026.00 for R310,000.00 (2 bikes, racing wheels, 2x shoes, 2x helmets, garmin).
  13. 10 were brought into SA USN have 2/3 if memory serves and one is a Brabus version! I know someone who has been lucky enough to drive one of them.
  14. What climb was this? not many constant 900m climbs in SA. He must be a rather big boy or be crazy strong to avg 221w for 15 hours
  15. I would not go as far as to say only in the US. Not sure if you know him and his brothers background and how "learning disabled" they were. Almost anything is possible if you put in enough time and effort, the man's work ethic is crazy. He's the type of guy pulling +100hr work weeks and if you can sustain that with a little smart thinking you will almost always be successful.
  16. Great result!!! I should have done your darn race, my time was 39:55 with avg 4.3w/kg and I had a sprint finish from 180th
  17. Then phone app it is, needs around 400mb free space. then cast to your TV if possible.
  18. All good and well till the gun goes and someone goes up the road in front of you! then all plans go out the window and it go till you blow or in my case "throw a cat".
  19. I had a rough afternoon with an upset stomach but luckily I managed to last the 40min of pain before running to the throne. I second the above, first few mins were crazy. I was feeling properly flat but managed to hang on for 166th, nearly threw up but did manage to get a max HR I haven't seen for 5 years.
  20. Ouch, but in all fairness he came off pretty lightly. Hopefully the wet roads would help with the road rash and make is more of a carpet burn type abrasion. Everyone here worrying about his hands, I'd be worried about my junk grinding down the road.
  21. Ok I've broken 7 over the years. 5 being in the last 7 years 4 of which have been plated. So here's the list: Went down the back steps in a walking ring as a baby.Pushed down a bank at school paying silly buggers.Drop-off collapsed under me on take-off.Caught a rock hiding in the grass with a pedal, OTB and T-boned another rock with my shoulder.Pulled a cleat out in a sprint, big OTB.Dog ran into the road, got brake checked and front wheel taken out.Last week I T-Boned a Bushbuck 100m from my gate going down the hill (I have bad luck when it comes to these things). I'm back on the bike with no pain and have been off the med's since the 3rd day, as I find I do to much when on painkillers. Every break is different and there are positives and negatives for plating and letting it heal on its own. I have never broken a clavicle with the plate still in so cannot comment on that. I do have some discomfort when hiking with a large backpack but that is mainly to being a human bean pole with almost zero coverage.
  22. Get hold of Carbon Ninja in Durbs, he can lengthen it for you. PM me if you want his number.
