I tried to enter yesterday and today and it says entries are closed? Website doesn't mention a closing date...

Just spoke to the Atera local distributor and they no longer bring them into the country.

I mailed the SA distributors for Atera on Monday, still waiting for a response.

Anyone have the Atera Giro AF and have any comments about it? It is a lot cheaper than the Thule, so I'm considering it.

I have just sent a claim to Fizik for my saddle that cracked underneath, will hopefully get replaced.

Terry from Xterra wetsuits normally rents out suits, don't have his details. If you haven't practiced swimming in a wetsuit I'd rather go without.

Great race, did maximum and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was hot but not unbearable, got a lekker triathlete tan though! Beats the trouble of getting to EL for 70.3. I was having a great race until I punctured at 40km, took a long time to fix!

Was a great day out! Good, tough conditions for DC training. Team Transact/Coronation rode like champions.

Last year we turned off the main road to the left, then did a out and back there (crossed train tracks), road was really rough. Think we aren't doing that section this year. Hope they sort out the Bike In section this year, lots of people wiped on the loose gravel last year.

In my opinion, it is by far the best Triathlon in WC. Can't find last years results but think I was 40th, so I'll be going for top 30 this year.

Couldn't agree more!! The pro start list is jam packed with the best in the sport! Only people missing are those that are injured.

Really looking forward to seeing how Jodie Swallow fairs against the top ladies in the sport, as she hasn't raced the top ladies in her previous IM's. My money is on a podium for her!

Around 10 of my mates and I that are doing JailBreak triathlon in Dec are busy collecting old, not abused running shoes, equipment and cycling kit. We will hand over all kit/equipment to Velokhaya cycling Academy in Khayalitsha at the end of Nov. The plan is to help start a multisports team within the Academy hence running kit is also needed. Just got a mail, saying the event is postponed until 17 November, due to more than half the route being totally waterlogged. Was looking forward to it.

I bought the 1200 from extreme lights and am very happy with it, only got it 2 weeks ago and so far no complaints.
