  1. awesome vid JB!! good job!!
  2. Conforming is for the weak!
  3. I'm a guy and I want to ride with that saddle I love it!!
  4. not sure of any places that are for sale on one bike, not sure what kind of place would fit on only one bike anyway ??
  5. just for interests sake what engine would you put in this body caad4? with a decent budget!
  6. was just kidding! I wish I was taking delivery of one of those! and yes if I were to get one, High Tech Automotive would be the place I would go
  7. that is brilliantly funny
  8. I'm taking delivery of mine next week but i might cancel it now because that hood scoop looks TERRIBLE!!! totally ruins a classic Cobra car!
  9. I had the Raleigh Team Carbon (red, black and white one) for about 2 years, think it retails somewhere around R5500 for frame and I was very happy with it, very light and reasonably stiff. it seemed to like the uphills as well. decent aerodynamic design as well, not very aggressive so it can double up as a road bike with normal road bars.
  10. what my signature says
  11. haha well said Steve!!
  12. this morning the sun rose at 7h13 ?? I wish I could ride that late in the morning I set a minimum of 3 alarms at 15 minute intervals (the last being the time I must get up) and I also lay my kit out the night before. having a picture or a print out of your goal somewhere next to your bed helps. for me I have a print out of last years SA Duathlon Champs top 8 results (top 8 go to worlds) next to my bed where I can see it when I wake up, it reminds me why I want to get up, to be in that top 8 going to bed at 21h00 doesn't hurt either
  13. haha ok, ok, one good thing going for the 5150 is each race has a purse of $10 000, not too shabby for a race in SA, but with International Pro's 'invited' to race the series to up the appeal there will be very little chance of us 'age-groupers' getting a slice of the pie!
  14. plus you get an awesome goody bag at 11 Global with a Dry Fit shirt to train in
  15. 11 Global, which is a world class event, is $50 which is somewhere close to R350, that is acceptable! anything over R400 is completely unreasonable for a 51 mile race. I will rather race 2 x 11 Global races (with the added petrol costs etc.) than 1 x 5150!!
  16. it's ridiculous! just because it has the 'infamous' M dot logo ?? R695 for 2 hours racing is over the top! I agree with you, I am not sure how many people will be forking out that much for an Olympic Distance race..
  17. Just saw the 'early bird' entries for the 5150 races, R695, it's not clear to me if that is for the whole series or per race? anyone have any more information? Entries open tomorrow!
  18. but it tasted good
  19. Top 5 Doping Excuses in Cycling Copied shamelessly from Cycling Training Tips: Top 5 Doping Excuses in Cycling: Tyler Hamilton: I have a twin that was never born. That's why my blood contains a different blood type than my own Floyd Landis: I had some beers and whiskeys last night. I have a very high natural level of testosterone. I am innocent. Raimondas Rumsas: My wife was bringing a car full of medical substances for her sick mother. I am innocent. Frank Vandenbroucke: The drugs were for my little dog. I am innocent. Dario Frigo: It's just a bad habit I have to wear illegal drugs. I don't use them. I am innocent.
