Lots of rain forecasted for friday,going in to the early morning hours. How is the soil drainage in the area?

Hi oldtmr,sorry for over reacting (we were in the x-trail), hope the emergency was sorted,didn't know,the traffic out was really frustrating.

Rode at SBR again today,had a blast, weather was great (although the wind was head on after karee kloof gate), also a new P.B time (on a 29" dueller,hahahaha) Loads of people out today, the only downside is,that everytime I go there, I see less game, really wish that there can be some upgrades in terms of new animals ect.

Is there a bikeshop in Dullstroom? I broke my chainring today,and are currently stuck in Tshipise,and are going through to dullstroom on friday.

Who has done the race today,whats tour opinion,time finished,opinion on venue and routes? Did the half marathon today,1:42:00,was just miffed with the sand (but thats mtb right) venue was nice,route was fast until the 2nd waterpoint,with some technical climbs and a knarly downhill. I had no issues with the timing,and the traffic out was not that bad. Any other opinions?

Absolutely love SBR,sufferfest of note,especially at the beginning and the end with those 2xkiller climbs. This is currently my best time on a 29" duel susser.

Also lost rewards, and not to derail, the strava update looks hoenderpoep,liked the previous look more.

Did a 10min warmup, followed by a 3min aerobic test, then a 20min FTP test. Probably should've done the 20min on another day,because my legs kinda hurt after the 3min,hahahaha. Results as per pics, still a lot of work to do.

Did the full marathon, very well marked,had a blast (wind sucked,but hey,thats cycling) and finished with 3:02:00( nice and fast). kudos to the advendurance team,seems like the timing issue that was experienced on the lionman is sorted out,great stuff. The only issue experienced was the merging of the routes,if only it was possible for the kid's and fun race to merge seperately from the half and full marathon. Overall,had a blast of a day.
