  1. Crappy Crazy German if you want to pick at someone at least try to be funny. So far the comments you made are far from posessing the slightest bit of humor. But then on the other side your behaviour makes it easy to notice you aren't a Safa and makes you stand out of the SA group of the forum members here. Thanx to all the other guys - I gave the bike back to my bud. He actually rode that bike for some time without knowing about the crack. Luckily nothing happened there. Anyone with a 50 cm frame looking for a carbonfibre fork? I borrowed another friends Specialized Tarmac yesterday and did a tour around Cape Town. Awesome ride as always, the bike a kiff ride, the Brownies from Compass backery prooved to be the best excercise food again
  2. if still of interest it is a pinarello carbonfibre fork. Fandacious: there goes the ride I could have done with you!
  3. ya, that's what I thought as well but obviously it's a bit of a dare... I'll stick to the MTB then! thanx
  4. I am, I am! ok, won't ride it then. not too bad actually - the roads around Stellenboshc would see me bored after 20 k's again carbonfibre is net ***! (IMHO)
  5. uh, just got the bike from a friend, don't know what the make is. But I'm very sure he didn't cut it himself...was probably like that when he bought the bike used a while ago.
  6. it's too old for that I guess and I'm not the original owner...
  7. what do the informed people say? can i still ride with this crack in the shaft? the crack hasn't completely penetrated to sidewall of the shaft yet... the shaft has a 1" diameter and there's a spacer between the shaft and the stem so that a 1'1/8" stems fit on it. TheLegend2008-01-27 23:52:27

  15. thanx skye, but i don't want to become a ppa member! well, i nothing else good comes up i might just do it cause it's the cheapest but i wouldn't mind being member of a cool club that does something.
  16. So I just learned that you even need a license now for funrides. I am new in the cape, based in Stellenbosch. What clubs are here that I could join? How much is the membership fee? Best case would be if they do lots for MTB'ers. Thanx for any recommendation!
