  1. don?t change it just because of me. especially since i?m not definitely in. but since it is a social ride thingy i do not see why it has to be in the middle of the night
  2. why so early? If saturdays race is not to bad I will be there. Anyone from Stellies driving through?
  3. well, on the map they are both pretty much in the same spot - depending on the scale
  4. isn't that a standard procedure for any retailer? in germany pretty much all retailers add about 100 % on to what they pay for the product. assume you have an adidas running shoe which costs 150 euros in the store, they buy it for around 70 euros. so the 'gain' is 80 euros. substract 19 % for the vat and final gain is 65 Euros. that's how that business works. You think your car dealer, grocery store or clothing store works different?
  5. would that be the recovery ride at 75%? where the fast guys have to wait up on the pass? and you stop for coffe? HARDCORE!
  6. If I can still walk after Saturday I might join. But, (where about is majik forest? Yeah, I am new in the 'hood!
  7. But the hot chocolate there is crap! watery chocolate drink - not nice, a big disappointment when you do not know what expects you!
  8. get rid off the disc and ride v-brakes! easiest solution!
  9. I have only changed a tubeless tyre once and there were no sealing issues at all. Is it different when using non-ust tyres? is it more difficult to get them to seal?
  10. I have to go to PTA on the weekend....I'll use my waterproof bag and wear board shorts the whole time - even at the wedding! it's such a nice day today again in Stellenbosch...
  11. hey, stop the mocking! in my country the ordinary person pronounces it "wersatsche" so my attempt wasn't to bad
  12. Thats Versace.. so I hope the right one hired you
  13. oh, sorry, not in this country, no! In Europe it did though. Awesome car! TheLegend2008-03-17 06:09:51
  14. No but that is when warrantee and service plan runs out. service plan...that's the reason why people go to the brand dealer and get cars serviced and fixed for sometimes double what it costs somewhere else? but if it's warranty that you worry about then u'll have to get a new car of course. If the car is reliable, offers all the needed comfort, then why shouldn't you stick to it and "save" money? opposed to buy a new flippen expensive car and loose quite a big amount of money in the first 2-3 years? 15. does your car dealer tell you that you have to get a new car every 100.000 km?
  16. i think it really depends on how much you travell with the car. but if you look at a golf tdi for example - you can easily drive them with less then 6 l/100 km which is quite nice. but on the other hand the new fsi technologies allow petrol cars to be very low in petrol consumption as well but also the car is cheaper and the petrol in this country as well.
