  1. I can't wait to go ride Oubergpass when I'm in that area one day.
  2. Forget road rage, check bulldozer battle! This battle between bulldozers in Northern China over the weekend takes road rage to a completely new level. According to media reports, the conflicting parties were from rival construction companies that were competing for business. Authorities are investigating the incident.
  3. There's a few, all on dirt roads Oubergpass - It's part of one of the oldest passes and the original Forgotten Highway through the barren Karoo, the original diamond route between Ceres and Kimberley: https://www.strava.com/segments/1312192 Merino Bastard - It's never ending! https://www.strava.com/segments/11388836 Swartbergpass (North side) - Long and steep! https://www.strava.com/segments/832253 Swartbergpass (South side) - Long and steep! https://www.strava.com/segments/1289379 Edit: Don't waste your time on short little twisty Strava segments for the Videos, not the ones that will allow you recovery time after a few hours and attempt again the same or next day. Select the ones a bit off the beaten track and the ones that you'll feel in your legs many days after attempting it
  4. Wonder what the new Bugatti Chiron will do, much better looking and classier sports car.

  13. Hmmmm good question! It's 55% tar and 45% gravel and then there's the Swartberg climb after having done just under 2000m of climbing already. Then that hectic descent to Prince Albert. I reckon a very strong rider should be able to do it in four and a half hours in favourable weather conditions. Me....I don't know. I'll be happy just to finish it as quickly as possible so that I can go drink lots of Glenhoff Craft beer on the stoep of the Swarberg Hotel!
  14. Anyone gunning for that Swartberg KOM with 140km in the legs https://www.strava.com/segments/1289379
  15. It's much further (1050km + etolls ) out for me! Will be riding my steel 29er mtb and rigid fork with knoblies. Going there to have fun and enjoy the hospitality Prince Albert has on offer.
  16. Looks like fun. I can tell you, Kyalami is NOT flat, no mountains though, but if you wanna go fast you will suffer even if it's only 45kms!
  17. Booked, thanks. Nice Prince Albert site if you are looking for accommodation: http://www.princealbert.org.za/stay/list/
  18. Just entered for this one, can't wait!

  20. Dudes, again, read the mail they sent out! "Please ensure you made all your route tracking and uploads private". Nothing about not being allowed to upload it as long as it's private. Blarry hell....
  21. The spectators guide has much more detailed maps of each stage.
  22. You can get all the files you need online in a matter of minutes, just scratched the surface..
