  13. Kamikazi makes pretty decent riding shirts. we had some TEA shirts made and they're very comfortable in winter and summer. Could also just be me enjoying winter rides more than summer, not bothered by the rain.
  14. We all know how mountain bikers exaggerate…🤣🤣🤣 ”just ride it, you’ll be fine” it’s definitely a weekend trip worth, plan an extra day for the “drug fix” . it hits you hard on your way back that you won’t ride anything like that in Cape Town…
  15. You MUST ride it blind your first time, it’s a write-off passage…😜🤣 I rode in blind in 21 & @Meezorode it blind last year, so we’re passing the beaten baton on to you. “ride blind you must”
  16. Welding aluminum presents some unique challenges compared to welding steel or other common materials, particularly in terms of the chemistry and crack sensitivity. In many cases, welding aluminum requires following some special procedures. Important factors when welding the material include: selecting the right filler metal; proper storage and thorough cleaning of the base material; and proper welding techniques. If it's carbon then don't bother welding, the material seems to deteriorate immediately, not sure why, possibly rider error... am i correct @V18?
  17. Riding in the dark is awesome and risky on its own, adding the element of pushing limits to it, that’s a shot in the dark.
  18. Surely Eskom could….. NVM.. lights candle for windy city NightRide..🤦🏽‍♂️
  19. No need for lights, sun sets around 19:00. Most should be long done by then. I’ve done some TM rides late afternoon without lights.

  23. Delvera does not have trails listed on Trailforks anymore... odd..
  24. True and NOT! Completing the event, does not mean utter fun. It was awesome riding with you and the rest of our “crew”, but it’s like you just said; “then move along”. There’s loads to ride around that piece of dirt in the middle of a city.
  25. the weather is a factor for me. i'll call it closer to the date. anything above 18.26C will NOT see me riding in Paarl.
