Yup, I was very frustrated with this before, also the more the pads wear the more the contact angle from the plate changes.

When last did you replace the springsteel clips that pushes the pads back? They do get old, I tweaked mine for a bit more pressure on the XTR and it did the job fine!

jees dude, the other day there was a discussion about the pros and the cons of the UST against tubes. one of the main focus point were that one can run the USTs on lower pressures with more resultant grip.....BUT I weigh the same as you do and my rims bump thoroughly with the front end swishing around at anything less than 2,5 Bar. the front end is due to the tyre folding in turns. Is the bumping and the loose front end what you're use to? I Run a Mountain King UST up front, anything from 1.8 -2.1 Bar and have never had issues and I weigh more than you. maybe check your tire pressure gauge L'Bie....

You were riding like a D**s..... Did you mention that you probably pulled your front brake? You didnt chech tire pressures or fork setup.... It was moer of a funny. Dont blame the tire as I managed to swerve and miss the yard sale you set up in the middle of the road.....

I'm probably gonna get vloeked for this...but here goes. I used a thin two stroke oil to bled my brakes just before a race as it was all I could find hoping that the seals would last the race at least. It is now more than a year later and still all I have used in a Shimano and Magura setup and no problems!....Touch wood! oh .... and about R8.95 for 250ml.....
