  1. Anybody interested in doing the big cols should read some of Graham Fifes books before, he gives good insight on what it is like to ride these famous climbs from an amateurs point of view.
  2. the hub definately needs more women, this is desperate....
  3. It would be interesting to see how many fellow hubbers have experienced a bit of buyers remorse??
  4. What you replacing it with??
  5. I ride an Epiphany, and personally I don't think you can go wrong. However you dealing with two top marques, take Zeepee's advice - ride before you buy. Personally I believe the Epiphany fits that catergory "one bike for all occasions" better then the Yeti 575

  7. Oh yeah I forgot, many many happy miles Slaya
  8. Isn't the revelation to much fork for this frame, I thought the blur lt required more of a xc set-up...
  9. Very nice, what's the full spec on this baby, and what does it weigh?
  10. This is not specific to you Gromit, but in general terms do saddles have weight limits?
  11. Remember upgrading is expensive, look at what you want to achieve with your current steed, if this requires an extensive upgrade, if might be cheaper to replace with a higher spec machine
  12. Very bold Onetime, But I reckon you should've left it to the roadies to stick butterflies on their bikes
  13. don't forget the carbon fibre requirement, guess you'll have to risk it on the stem and handlebars, it you want to be completely true to the inspiration.
  14. Hi Ngala, Will these frames hit any retail outlets in the Western Cape, would be niiicccee to see one in the flesh
  15. Something unique and at a reasonable price,........ that must be a first in the south african bike industry
  16. No I purchased it Fair Enough. Great bike by the way. I remember it gained headlines in MBA once as being the world's most expensive production MTB. That was a few years back of course when $ 10 000 was consided insanely expensive. I purchased it a couple of months back from a bloke in JHB, the only electronic photo I have is the one he sent me, hence you thinking I was that bloke. You obviously id'd the carbon seatstay which was made for the 2008 oracle. The frame is an epiphany, which was purchased in march 2009 and the components are mainly 2008. The bike you talking about is the oracle a titanium version of the epiphany
  17. No I purchased it
  18. My contribution to the debate......
  19. Crow, How many Morewoods do you have, you seem to collect these things the way my other half collects shoes...
