Yup... got a 6man together. ..

thought it was a great weekend, started AM on the 66km finishing 2h09, that wind was a killer... then did the 55km MTB yesterday, some tough climbs on tired legs but finished 3h27... any idea how many started the 55km MTB? only 141 finishers?

Hey. Thinking of starting a SS build, just want to know regarding the rear wheel/hub, is the hub wider then a geared hub with cassette or is it the same just with rings removed from cassette and spacers fitted? Maybe someone can post a pic from top view of rear hub/ring/chain? Also, when/why would a chain tensioner be required?

Any idea why they would have the MTB 25km start ahead of the MTB 50km? So doing two laps with back markers already and then still have 25km back markers on the first lap??

I had the Salomon Speedcross 3, the rubber on the edge in the ball of foot area had torn after a week... salomon replaced them though, no big issue there... very comfy shoes...

fitted the tyres saturday, raced Walkerville sunday... best race ever, tyres gripped so well! slight leak on the valve base still bit sorting that today... thanx for the info.... decided on the 2.3 Ground Control front and 2.2 Fast Trak rear...

So I ordered my Fast trak and Ground control today, get them next week, amped!

I personally have bought 3 lights for myself and mates, including spare battery packs and those battery packs have lasted up to 3 hours on its brightest function, no sign of excessive heat on the batteries... they're cheap and they work! Well done Andre, at least u dont go bad mouthing the competition. ...

hey! My first marathon was dulstroom after only 6 months of riding, at one point I thought I was gonna die,hill after hill; took me 6 hours but I finished, was awesome! they only way to start the marathon is to jump in the deep-end.... and so what if u walk... pros have walked once upon a time...

what good would stealing it be of its not insured anymore... hard luck. ..
