  1. So here is my Peugeot Chorus built with a mix of C Record and Croce' D Aune . Needs another saddle - have a Rolls I wanted to use but I can't get the saddle angle right with the seatpost I've got.
  2. you can. The frame is available by itself.
  3. I still think a Mexico . The Supers with crimped tubing all seem to have a flat fork crown. The frame is a slightly later model than I originally thought though. The early Mexicos had the club logo surrounded by a C on the fork crown. This one only has the club logo on the fork crown. I think this change occurred around 1985/86
  4. If I can see correctly from the photo , the tubes are crimped rather than the diamond shape characteristic of the Master frames . This was Colnago's first foray into experimenting with alternative shaped tubing . When producing the Sarroni frames around the same time , Colnago used slightly oval shaped tubing and also tapered the tubing from a fatter section in the middle to a more slender profile at the lugs . In cheaper tubing of course - mostly Columbus Aelle .
  5. It could be a Super but more probably a Mexico. Should be Columbus Sl tubing. This frame was made in the early 80s I think . Maybe 82/83
  6. If it is tendonitis , it will not heal with a weeks rest . Go see a physio and check out what's going on . With tendonitis you will typically feel a "grittiness " around the tendon when you flex it . My tendons do get painful at times if I don't get regular massage and stretch . The pain in the tendons I experience is due to the Soleus muscle in the calf getting tight . With effective massage , the relief is immediate and I can ride with no discomfort .
  7. Can anyone help ? I have bought an old Hansom Tandem . Does anyone know what tubing was used for these bikes - I suspect it is Reynolds 531 , but not sure , and what seatpost size was standard ? The seatpost lugs have been abused a bit . The bike came with seat posts of 25.4 mm but the one seems a little loose , so not sure if they are the correct size .
  8. That's how we rode them back then. They are period correct !
  9. I am not sure if they still have but Totalcycling in the U.K. did have .
