  1. Would be nice seeing a 2015 Stumpy FSR 650b
  2. They may not see the need but would they what to loose out on the profits not have the option
  3. Hi Hubbers, do you think 2015 would see the Specialized 650B. I personally cant see them loosing out on this and would only be a mater of time before they launch there 650B bike. As most will know the tires are out. From Sean Estes "It's a little known fact that we got our start making tyres — before we made bikes even — and to this day tyres are still a key category for us," said Specialized's global PR manager Sean Estes. "Tyres provide the final connection between the rider and the ground which is why tyre choice is such a critical element of performance and an area we put a lot of effort into. Even though we don't currently offer 650B bikes we still want to make sure riders have the option of choosing their favourite Specialized tyre models for all popular wheel sizes."

  6. Same idea as DaleE's one
  7. Fit track also give good work out programs to follow and also tracks you progress
  8. One should just be careful that one day there are no photographers at the events cos it's not worth it for them. Then the Rant would be "there's no photo's at events" If paid up to R60 for a photo, it must be a good shot and good quality. I just wish they would take more photos of me. Maybe I should wear a board "I pay for photo" not so much photos of back marker I think It's not cheap to sit out in a event like Tankwa Trek and take photos all day.
  9. In my opinion: 1. Buy the best, lightest bike you can afford. 2. Do a good bike fit (BGFit for me) 3. Ride your bike know how everything works 4. Do skills training courses and as much as you can afford (some are not cheap) 5. Ride, ride, ride ........
  10. That is bad advice from your LBS good skills training just makes you a better rider and make MTBing more fun. If pro riders like Ariane Kleinhans still do skills training on a regular bases I'm sure you would agree we could all benefit from it. I recently did my skills training and it is unbelievable how much it improved my riding. It's all simple stuff but if someone that knows what he is talking about points out and help you correct your mistakes it makes a big difference Only my opinion but maybe you should consider a new LBS it doesn't should like these guys or girls give you the best info

  16. Ground control front and fastrak rear work well for me
  17. Ek het my inskrywing + R35 betaal online, maar die late entries het nie R35 betaal nie. So as hulle wel geld aan CSA moet betaal gaan dit hulle paar rand kos. Maar was ok event ek sal weer hom ry
  18. Mmm..... Yes online I had to pay but at the event no one seemed to know about it
  19. Was I the only one that bought a CSA day licence (online entry)? The late entries did not have to pay for CSA???
  20. Klink goed kan nie wag nie
  21. Race was not bad but no medals thats just wrong
  22. Not a good 30km event ...... no single track and lots of tarmac , this does not make a good MTB event. Late start on a hot day?? Venue was nice but all inside tables was all reserved for Polo club guests so we had to sit out side is sun with 1 year old kid and by the time we left there was still empty tables inside. I understand it is the Polo club and there club house but if you don't want outsiders there don't host a MTB event I'll give this a miss next year
