  1. Raised the Q as I never cramp in the race and sometimes after the race but on the Karoo to Coast I cramped very badly. Funny enough but when we removed my leg warmer the cramping stopped.
  2. Did the K2C but on the 57km mark the legs started cramping beeg time and last 25 km was pure hell. At about 50km mark I was on track for +- 5 hour ride but ended up way past that. The minute I worked the legs the pain would set in so you can imagine that every hill was a nightmare. I did the training, did not try anything new and stuck to what always worked me on tye skinny wheeled bike so would love to know your views on cramping. One thing I can add is when I removed the leg warmers in last 10km things did get better.
  3. Cycling is no longer a cheap sport - FIFO.
  4. We played at the Monatgu Gardens one but was a once off corporate evening. Must admit till that point I was having lots of fun.
  5. Went to Medi Clinic immediately (21H00) and got it cleaned, dosed with Bactroban (spelling??) and closed up with one of those huge see thru plasters. Started with the tissue oil three days later. Today is one week and the scars are hardly visible.
  6. No wax - mark 3 razor with Nivea Foam. Used to use the gel but they have improved the foam huge time.
  7. As a member of the Outriders Cycle Club we are seeing more and more people attending our club rides because besides the costs but also weekend family time is cut short. I dont believe that it will be the death of funrides but most riders are just going to be a lot more selective about which events they attend. mdk5552008-08-27 23:14:20
  8. I got those from batting - hit 6 sixes in a row and while running on last ball the opposition kinda gave me a small nudge and ...........
  9. FiT - There is no other choice and especially the GOO as it tastes just as good going down as it does coming up when puking on a hill.

    Q Rings

Perhaps MdK should offer Sastre a ride on the 555EXPRESS, and put Cancellara on the front of the tandem.......

Dont even go there - the last time this was debated with technical views and points the topic hit 30 odd pages and we almost had lawsuits................

This is so true and I am sure that 90% of the double up brigade will testify that since they put Q on they have never needed granny again. Matter a fact, many will also testify that they have climbed hills in the big blade as well. We who have ridden with Q have no need for studies or any theories - ons ken!!!!!

  22. Damn these saturday night parties. Was ready to join you guys but the party evolved and i had the hangover to prove it. Only 2 more saturdays of 40th parties to go and then i might be able to join you guys on the training rides. So expect to see me in 3 weeks Sorry but that is not and excuse - I was at a soup and sherry evening the night before and rode with a huge babalas. Stay away from the beers and do the red wine as that is the best. See you soon

I think you'll need two RaceChick, just do it, you won't regret it I agree 100% as i yet to find to someone who is unhappy with them on a tandem.
