  1. Or he will get lost in the system and no offence to Louise but 1 race doesnt always make a career, team would look at what he has done all season before making decisions and how many points he has unfortunately. MTN are a full Pro Conti team this is basically a Pro Tour Team but doesnt have the budget (yet) to buy a PT licence. They will ride the Tour next year. There is nothing Non Euro or Non Pro set up with MTN.
  2. Creatine is 70% water retention and is a useless product.
  3. Waylon left on his own accord due to salary payments and team budgets.
  4. This article is from 2008, alot of the testing has changed since then.
  5. I don't do any seeding rides and get seeded very well based on my previous years Argus time. My current PPA seeding is based on that 1 Argus event is an A. 10min behind the winner at Burger vs Close to 60min at K2C is a big chunk of time and their index looks right for it.
  6. Zilla: That is the point I am trying to make in an earlier post where I said that the spikes - 2554w in your case are a huge error and all those spikes - regardless of amount of seconds all add up over a ride and therefore throws your average Watts / TSS and IF out. Delete those spikes and your TSS and IF drop. Take those increases over a period and your TSb, CTL and ATL are out considerably. On the strava point the software picks up your PM / Powercal readings and doesnt use its own algerythems to predict the power average on segments. I am in no way saying what you doing is wrong and not that you pushing out those scores weekly as I know you train alot and are committed but when you really know want the most accurate data and analyses there of everything has to be spot on which in most cases peoples arent. As I am sure you know, its not about putting your file into WKO+ and going "Wow I pused 400w for 10min and a score of .976 for a 5 hour ride. that alone is not right before analysing the file(s) Reading some of the scores returned on rides in this thread is a simple tell tale that their data is wrong.
  7. For accurate HR TSS use Golden cheetah as it gives you a TRMPS based PMC.
  8. If anything with a Powercal it has overestimated it not under.
  9. It is not 100% correct but for a Powercal it is correct. remember a Powercal isnt working off strain gauges its off heart rate and algerythems. whatever you have adjusted it to in order to get 35 keep it there.
  10. How hard are you riding during this ride? Reason I ask is that is you hammer it the score is more, if you cruise it the score is less so to return that score for every ride of that "route" would be incorrect. You can return a score of 80 for that aswell.
  11. If you have WKO+ and a Powercal do a 20min all out effort and upload the file. Play with the ftp setting and if you return a score of 35 tss your ftp for the powercal is basically correct but will be different if you have any proper power meter. Powercals return incorrect values though due to heart rate spikes and that increases your power spikes so unless you clean up the file and remove the huge spikes the scores are wrong.
  12. 1200 is possible, 2500 is hard to believe unless you doing 30-40 hour weeks.
  13. Your FTP is wrong or you racing every time you ride your bike. .850 / ride is not correct. Have you got rides of .9 or 1? If so, change your FTP. Your readings are false.
  14. I never did this event but 9/10 people said they really did not enjoy it and will not be back due to many reasons but they all mentioned how wrong can an organiser get their route profiles wrong? The 10th person I spoke to never finished and went home and rode in Lebanon for 2 days instead.
  15. Laps are really quick cause the course is on Strava
  16. Impressive to see Matthew Beers and Derrin Smith give some Pro's the back wheel. These 2 guys are showing some serious potential.
