  1. There is only 1 company to use for coaching in South Africa. Science to Sport. www.sciencetosport.com I know a few hubbers use them and I have purchased their online training programs for Argus and now for Sani. I used FitTrack programs before and while those are ok, the Science to Sport programs beat them hands down and I have seen a huge improvement in my riding. Did my 1st Sub 3 Argus from B group this year in the wind compared to last years time also from B. Cut 17 min off my time is harder conditions. For the personal 1 on 1 I know a few Hubbers use John Wakefield and Mike Posthumus with great results. The 2 of them are also racing at the front end of their age categories at either road or mtb or both so they practice what they preach.
  2. Asked a question, I answered. Bud.
  3. I did ask myself that, why on earth did you buy a Pinarello fake or real in the 1st place? There are SOOOO many BETTER bikes out there for a lot less. The amount of cash you have thrown down the drain could of put to better use. A better and cheaper bike, a training program and a lot of proper "medical assistance" that will make you win any F seeded group fun ride classic and club ride on a Saturday. You will be so charged from all that you still have energy to fix the garden in order to take the edge off and think of next weeks club ride on where to attack and solo to the end.
  4. Whatever, I know guys who finished top 40 on 8-12 hrs a week.
  5. This lady should rather keep her mouth shut, always has so much to say. They won the jersey outright and Fedgroup never and if Waylon never pulled out due to illness, they would of won it. The team has such a dark cloud on them for so many reasons. When they finished no one was there other than Bridgette to see them. No fans congratulated them or anything. They stood around looking honestly lost. It was actually rather sad but at the same time a telling sign of what people thought. Once Scott, Cannondale, ToPeak etc came through the finish area people were shouting and screaming. That summed it all up for me.
  6. Not sure how you can say that when Kevin and David, as I have said in a earlier post, would protest Burry and Sauser any and every chance they got at Epic or any other event they raced against him/them to try get time over them. It got so bad at 1 stage it was ugly as sin as it got to a point when they protested Burry for wearing a wrong shirt or so they thought. If you cheat or break the rules you guilty, that applies to any rider/racer, there were more teams than just Scott who wanted to protest, Scott just got theirs in there 1st so why arent you attacking the other teams? The Fedgroup/Scott deal did not end amicably in anyway and there is more of that to come so their troubles are not over from what I heard and rightfully so.
  7. Shame, your team not looking so good anymore? Get life yourself and besides why would I ever want to ride for a team with such a dark cloud over them? Last thing I would ever want to do is ride for this bunch. I dont even think Ricco would want to ride for them.
  8. No its not and I also heard today while waiting at 1 of the water points as 2 different team staff were talking and said that his wife swore or verbally abused at an official or jury member in a meeting earlier in the week. Also got a hefty fine.
  9. He isnt allowed at the Epic due to his doping ban as a rider or team manager/worker, thats their rules and he broke them.
  10. over at www.sciencetosport.com they have a number of training programs pre-built for beginner, intermediate and advanced for a number of events and the Epic is one of them. They also have 1 on 1 personal coaching should you choose that option rather. The 4 coaches, Jeroen, John, Ben and Mike are incredible and leaders in SA when you look at their athlete list from Pro to novice and the results they get. I am biased here yes, but everyone is raving about them.
  11. I dont think he has any money after Epic to appeal with the amount of fines his team has accumulated.
  12. Where do you get the info he is the strongest? Your love for this team is amazing through this dark cloud they under with doping positives, course cutting and cheating, fines etc. something I haven't seen since the days of the Lance fan club. I commend you.
  13. The way they supported Brandon when he tested positive for doping and being party buddies after hours there is no way they will cash out, they support what is going on which is good cause if they left no one in their right mind will sponsor this team.
  14. Are you mad?? Gert and Matthys are killing them and did so very very well today. No chance unless a major mechanical.
  15. Manners are important........The list is growing for this team.
  16. Sky was penalised with a pretty hefty fine if remember.
  17. If its in the rules then yes. Totally fitting. If not, then no.
  18. How do you know it wasnt?? Seems like you a fanboy of Kevin here.
  19. 2 camera's including his own as you said showed they took a shortcut and gained advantage. Not much more to be said. Maybe Fedgroup has another TUE for the shortcut but hasnt been approved by shortcuts anonymous? “Review of Go-Pro camera footage from the rider immediately behind the rider in question, as well as footage from team 13’s own Go-Pro (attached to the bicycle of the accused rider) confirms that the incident occurred, and that an unfair advantage was gained.”
  20. Do you know the 2nd place team appealed or put the protest in? Why would you say that is unfair? They cheated and took a short cut to save time. If I was the 2nd team I would also protest just like Kevin and David used to appeal and protest anything and everything they could come up with against Burry and Sauser when they used to get their asses handed to them year after year at Epic.
  21. Lance Armstrong also raced at the top end of the sport and we all know how that went.
  22. On a finish like that no one will have anything for J-Rod, his kick is just to strong in concession. Long way to go till July but Froome is in trouble, his attack was strong but AC and J-Rod followed pretty easy as AC only went much later once he saw danger and they dropped Froome who couldn't make up ground again. Froome was in incredible form - same as now - this time last year but his competition wasn't and now they have decided to get their ducks in a row and the outcomes are very different. Also Sky have clearly got a a little wake up call with JTL, Henao being isolated with dodgy blood values and sending Porte home just in case to get his stuff under control which in turns leaves Froomes top up supply similar to everyone else's. The Tour come July will be one of the best to date I believe with Nibali, Froome, AC. Quintana, J-Rod all showing incredible form right now.
