How perfect was the weather! Really enjoyed the day out, but for some reason I found that there was less supporters and gees this year on the side of the roads... was it just me? Very sad to hear about the riders who went down. Sending condolences to the families.

Went yesterday afternoon about 4ish to pick up number pack... (won't comment on goodie bag, was what I expected..) took less than a Min.. expo was very quiet. Don't understand why no sms was sent out to say printer issue was resolved, poor expo dudes were trying their best to attract costumers with the little crowd that was there. Felt a bit sorry for them, I'm sure there will be a bit of a loss this year for them, as yesterday was a big slump in the afternoon, and I'm sure that today and tomorrow they will be so busy, that some customers will also pass on stopping and buying/browsing as it will be to full...? I was intrigued with the bottle top, used a bit of my 50 litres to see how it worked... weird. Have a good race on Sunday everyone, may the wind be in our favour!

Glad no-one was hurt, poor couple. Sad this is happening.... sadly makes me think twice about going certain places.

Also heading out that way this weekend.. would also like to know if the dude has gone.. there is a parkrun in the sat morning there, so around about 8 - 10 there will be loads of people around the trails.. so a bit safer then.. One of my fav places to ride.

Loads of trails out there... yeah go check out the shop, owner is super nice. The hemel and aarde trail also starts right from his shop. Awesome fun ride!
