  8. I got the Spearfish.......I'm blown away by it's performance, the rear triangle makes the bike very stiff and I couldn't be happier. That said if you want to be doing trail riding, drop offs etc I'd say no. This bike is only for going fast. Mine at race weight is 11.6kg including pedals. f you wanna know what's on it then ask.

  10. So here it is, if you are coming from Durban and need your car driven from the start down to Scottburgh then this may help. John stays in Durban, he would need a lift to Underberg and then the you can sort out the details with him. R500 or so... 072 720 1387.
  11. Oh ja.... if you do go over the bars at any stage you will end up in granny chainring and 11.
  12. If the 2x10 gripshift was available I would have it on. Best thing ever. Only thing you might find is that your thumbs joints may get sore when you first start using it cos the gripshift is slightly thicker than a standard grip. After a few rides you shoud be used to it.
  13. Whatever you use as long as its set up properly it will work. I cant wait for the 2 x 10 gripshift.

  18. I don't ride a single speed. Most times I'm fast but sometimes I can be flippen fast. I think they call that dual speed?

  21. Traffic at obstacles or single track is a chance to drop your heart rate not to get it higher. Chilll for a minute and you'll have more gas at the end. Seeing as we are all giving out our own pearls of wisdom , My first rule of mtbiking "Don't be a P03$"
