Nice looking bike. I run some Ritchey carbon risers on my SS and they work fine. Haven't tried the 10 degree bars. Answer also have a new wrist friendly bar out

Lekker fiets. Mine is almost the same and it is a great ride. Feels like a big wheel mbx. I got new hoops this week Mavic C29max. Still to try them out. I like my bike!

I finally received my order from the island today. Toys for the SS: Gusset spacer and cogs for Liela and DMR kit for the avo bike. Already fitted, it is time to go and play :-)

Maybe it is time to swop my plastic road bike for a steel beauty. Oh, and the alu CX as well. By the way my classic Chromoly mtb is still a wonderful ride. Guess you need to ride a bike to know what it feels like whether Chromoly, Reynolds or some other blend of steel

My SSCX that I commute with runs on 39x17. But it is not of much use when going off-road. Or you need seriously strong legs Like the bike. Maybe time I upgrade to a steel CX....

I have an avo green Schinn CX. My commuting bike. Threw the groupset away and put some flatbars on. Don't like racing bars in traffic. Biggest thing with riding on the trails is the gearing. The road crankset don't run small blades. Although a mtb crank will fit. That makes me think....

Alas, none of those beauties are South African. I should rather have said commuting is not perceived to be cool by SA people in metal boxes. But having a fixie is currently cool. That is until the next best thing comes along. But I did have a good time looking at people in metal boxes this evening with Hairy, et al.
