It happened at around 10am, I was with mtbn00b and skaduwee when we came across the guy who was hijacked, he said he dragged about 500m into the millie field by the 3 guys, 2 with screwdrivers and 1 with a pistol, they were well organised as he said they smsed the pick up vehicle, a white bakie, he said every time someone passed he would cock the pistol, so these guys are ready to shoot...he was in the millie field for about an hour. If you are planning a sting op, just be very careful, lives don't men anything to these thugs.Chip2010-01-04 02:23:38

This was my first mtb race and it was really great to meet some very friendly people, it was awesome. I have to agree with Christies comments, I was also on of those who did the "extra loop". The single track would have been awesome if the field was spread out more, it was fustrating waiting in the long ques, but met some great people. I really enjoyed the event and it's a pity I'm going to miss the Diamond Rush next month, but I will be a the following one.....I'm HOOKED. I am looking forward to meet some more friendly mtb people in Centurion.

Greetings all, I'm getting ready to take the plunge into Mtb'ing again....I had a Produx in rthe mid '90's....I am looking at getting a Commencal Combi R '07 or a Merida TFS 700, I want to do general trail riding as well as xc enduro races....any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
