  2. Sorry for the hi-jack.... In a similar predicament, I want to build a set of 650B enduro wheels for my Banshee Spitfire, I have Hope Pro 2 hubs and looking to go with wide rims (>27mm), I'm looking at WTB Frequency i29's from CRC, is there anything available locally that won't break the bank (I know of the Rapide rims, but also looking at other well known brands)....or should I buy a complete wheelset secondhand for around R3-4k? Thanks, Dale

Hi fellow Gravity seekers, Need advice again.....looking at getting a "new" bike or frame for general trail riding and enduro events... I'm 175cm tall (80cm inseam) and currently ride a 2006 Reign with a 60mm stem and 730mm bars, but I feel as though the bike (reach) is too short. I can't make up my mind which of the following bikes would be best, some advice would be appreciated.... 1. 2010 Spez Enduro, complete bike, size L @ R7.5k 2. 2014 Lapierre Zesty 429, complete bike, size L @ R16k 3. 2012 Spez Stumpy frame, size M @ R8.5k 4. 2015 Banshee Spitfire V2 frame, size M @ R15k Please help me make up my mind....which would your choose be and why? Thanks.

Hey guys, Need some advice from the guru's, I'm 175cm tall (80cm inseam) and currently ride a 2006 Reign with a 60mm stem and 730mm bars, but I feel as though the bike (reach) is too short. I thinking of getting a large 2011/12 Trance (26er) frame with a short 50mm or less stem, would this potentially solve my problem. Any advice would be appreciated. My other nightmare is this bike...https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/264703-2014-lapierre-zesty-429-large/ I really love this bike, would it be too big for me?
  12. I have the 661's, have had a few falls and they have held up extremely well, no injuries and they show almost no wear...Awesome pads!!
  13. Hi TJ, I'm also in Centurion and ride BRB every now and then, not very fit at the moment so going is slow.
  14. I was in the same boat about a month ago, bought a pair of 661 Rage knee pads from the classifieds, extremely happy with the fit and feel, going to give them a go this weekend at DRI, will give feedback afterwards. Also look at the Leatt Hybrid pads, I believe they are comfortable and offer great protection.
  15. I'm looking for a direct mount FD, 2X10 high mount....willing to pay

  17. Hey fellow hubbers, I'm in search of some tappered headset parts for a 1.1/8"-1.5" tappered frame, namely a bottom bearing 52mm in dia (7), upper dust cover (4) and the compression ring (5)
  18. Hi, Welcome to the Hub... I would suggest a small mtb, wheel size probably 650B (27.5), but there are a lot of 26ers out there that you could get at a bargain price. Look out for Silverback, Momsen and Titan, all good value for money bikes.
  19. I can vouch for Riaans' work...top notch and very helpful guy!!!
  20. Glad you were unharmed and lived to tell the tale...super that you got your bike back. Kudo's to the guys i the LDV.
