  1. That would be pretty awesome! All we need is a decent +/- 150km route that results in either a sprint finish or a reduced group sprint. The question is more about where exactly to host such a route. Plenty places with good potential.
  2. A classy post from a classy rider.
  3. What a win for MVDP!!!!!! That was so so close! His reaction though shows how much this means to him!
  4. Everybody else is riding for third. One of WvA or MVDP will be the champion today. It's going to be a tight one!
  5. And Alaphilippe is out! What a hectic crash! Eish man his season is over for sure!
  6. Their planned route for the TT is one that'll rip the legs right off of you especially with all the racing that has been done before you get to this stage! I hope they can pull this off. Would be epic to have it back!
  7. Yeah hoping that they'll have the replay. A wee bit technologically challenged to do the whole VPN thing.
  8. I am assuming that you are watching on SS? Red Bull is geo restricted!!!!!
  9. Try Red Bull TV. Maybe they'll be streaming it.
  10. Hi ScaredOnline Firstly Welcome to the BikeHub and to the Southern Suburbs/Peninsula. Secondly I will confirm what the others have said regarding upper Tokai and dogs. It's a definite no and again mostly because of the Baboons. I grew hearing some horror stories and as a kid saw Baboons being aggressive to the dogs we had at that time. Thankfully a large sheet of glass between them and our beloved labrador and poodle (our dogs being in our home, the Baboons outside). Lower Tokai is very dog friendly and a nice place for you to allow your doggo to have some out the home exploration fun. Thirdly get yourself a My Activity Card (costs R625 for a year iirc) if you haven't already. You'll need one for the portions for which SANParks have responsibility, which is most of the mountain. The Green belt is free but that only really runs from Tokai to Southern Cross drive. Fourth if you are worried about safety join groups like the Trail Angels. I'm also sure that a number of the bike shops may know of clubs that you could join in order to find ladies to ride with. Lastly, and most importantly, have fun riding the awesome trails that we have here in the Cape!
  11. And incredibly funny. He had a sharp sense of humour!
  12. "It's unbelievable. It was so close. It goes to show you can never stop believing and never stop pushing until the last centimetre. It was the first time I did the oldest race in the calendar. It was on my wish list to win a Monument. I'm super happy I managed to win." Roglic quoted on Cycling News.
  13. Gives Hirschi and Pogacar an equally deserved second and third.
  14. Agreed. Edit: Even Cycling News & Eurosport thinks it's worth looking at. And a DQ would be a fair decision.
  15. Well even if they don't Roglic is a deserved winner as JA made a stupid stupid mistake by celebrating too early. This win for Roglic will be a real boost to his confidence.
  16. Only maybe MVDP but he got left behind on the last climb. Unless something goes wrong either a Slovenian, a Swiss or a Frenchie is going to win this! A truly top class top 4 regardless of who wins!
  17. Extremely! It's an all-star quintet fighting for the victory!
  18. A bunch of A type personalities as well. It usually gets sorted out quickly though. Evie and PFP were talking to each other shortly afterwards, so hopefully it's all good between them.
  19. The CX racers are a tough breed. Evie hit the deck hard and still won. So I wouldn't be surprised if Ceylin also finds the step to elites to be a manageable one for her. As for Tom Pidcock, I'm very unsure as to how much leeway Ineos will give him. Especially when you consider how little leeway they have given Kwaitkowski imho.
  20. Yeah I was worried about that and then I saw that he got thirteenth. So he recovered well and has given himself an opportunity to get another decent result out of this week. Like you I'm looking forward to Sunday!
  21. Alan Hatherly will be starting on the 2nd row on Sunday! Here's to hoping that he'll be able to repeat yesterday's result.
  22. Eish. This is not good news.
  23. I couldn't take my eyes off of my laptop! What a spectacular ride from him. Tomorrow's short track race is going to be very exciting and Nino could still walk away from this double round a winner.
  24. That you did! I think today really just underlined his class. From the 4th row to finish 4th in the race says a lot. Tomorrow's going to be a good one as well I reckon!
  25. We got treated to a real good one today! Stoked for Alan. Ditto for Andreassen as well, both put in a great performance! Nino showed his class today. Truly a cut above the rest!
