  1. All the ladies are on the course now. I am hoping Van der Breggen can add the one elite title that she has missed out on. Realistically it really is shoot out between her and Dygert Owen. Also nice to have Magnus Backstedt doing the commentary as well.
  2. Hi John Thank you for insights from within the team and the perspective on the race. I think we all value them! Congratulations on Tadej's success and that of your team (including you of course) in support of him! Genuinely pleased for you guys and I hope that this is truly the first of many such wins for him and the team!
  3. The Momsen was the best of the complete builds you were looking at. I'm sure that Momsen does sale frames although I think those were dual suspension bikes but it would be worth the while to have a look on their website to see if they sell hardtail frames as well.
  4. It's all good, you got nothing to apologise for imho.
  5. Sorry I thought that your comment was alluding to her as well. Got my wires crossed.
  6. That statement by Sean Kelly makes no sense unless you know the context. Kelly was talking in reference to the stress the top guys and their families experience during a race like the TdF especially if they're close to winning a classification. Bit of a difference between him and the eNCA reporter.
  7. Fixed. [emoji6][emoji6][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  8. Well done Sam!!!!!!
  9. Quite possibly. Today is very definitely the reason one watches sport. Just incredible!
  10. Wow, just wow. Not sure when we will see the likes of that again!
  11. This may be the greatest stage in the TdF I have had the privilege of watching. It is very definitely the most dramatic stage I have witnessed as well. What an incredible win by Tadej Pogacar! I have said repeatedly that this year wasn't go be his year to win a GT but I was wrong about that. I suspect that this is just the first of many many more to come! John Wakefield congratulations to you guys in helping him get here and I very sincerely hope that he'll remain with you guys for a while yet! Gutted for Roglic, wanted him to win but it wasn't to be. Got beaten by a brilliant and incredible and imho once in a lifetime talent. Roglic has nothing to be ashamed of, he gave it everything that he had.
  12. The top five or so will be more concerned with the time gaps between each other than whether or not any of them beat Cavanga's time. I wouldn't be too surprised if Cavanga's time eventually proves fastest.
  13. Remi Cavanga did a brilliant and strong ride to come in with a time of 57:54:89. Can't see any of the favourites doing it to much faster than that. I am fairly certain that the sprinters should be safe to make it to the Sprint World Champs.
  14. Agreed. I also think that almost all the main contenders on GC will be changing from TT bikes to their climbing bikes. I think there might be a few that may choose to run aerobars/TT bars on their climbing bikes but I think that'll only be a handful of riders choosing to do that.
  15. I didn't count 2017 for that reason. Basically every year since 2012 barring 2017 when he got DQ'ed, he has won it if he made it to Paris. This will be the first year that he makes it to Paris but not wearing the green jersey and to far behind to change it. I maybe just expressed what I meant a bit poorly. A remarkable run coming to an end.
  16. Sam Bennett is going to be a very worthy winner of the Green Jersey. He has ridden his race with great consistency and clever tactics. If I am not mistaken this will be the first time that Sagan loses the jersey while being in the race since 2011 the year before he began his remarkable ownership of the green jersey.
  17. He channelled his inner Gilbert with that attack! Really well done by Soren. He is a really clever rider and this was a very well deserved win.
  18. He's got 51 seconds I reckon if he keeps his cool it'll be win number 2 for him!
  19. Andersen seems to have other ideas though, going on his own.
  20. It'll be the green jersey group that'll contest the win.
  21. Well if they want to win they have too. Bora, Mitchellton and NTT are chasing hard.
  22. Apparently the cafe ride is over.
  23. I would assume that Trentin is probably the other favourite. He certainly seemed to have gotten good over the last week or so, judging on the ISP's we've seen.
  24. Given the profile they might be worried if they have the fire power to get the better of him. I really fancy that he is a very very likely to be the winner today.
  25. I have a free pass today - WvA on Eurosport/GCN I think a few of the sprinters might not be too happy to hear this news!!!!!
