5. According to my Garmin I topped out at 88.2km/h and I am a lightweight 75kg with a compact crank so I don't really bother pedaling downhill much. Love the speed of a road bike, that's what got me hooked . Have maxed out at 92.2km/h down comaro ave here in the south it's frikkin proper steep. Must admit get white knuckle fever when I go down there. EDIT: Am talking rubbish ... Not 88.2km 82.8km/h ????....dyslexia ok rules
 6. Think I would of had a quick swim in the heat at that time of the day..

 23.

**** you to the lady who switched my friend going up Ceder road and road away. (TIL my friend is a tough cookie. Her first ride and she get's taken out, grazes down the side of her leg hip and arm. Before I could say humpty dumpty, she had poped a Myprodol, and was back on the bike.) Very well done to the organisers! Small things make a big difference. The display board a the start of the pens to indicate what group was loading made the start far less stressful.
 24. I must add every time I do a road race I am gobsmacked at how strong some riders are . Of all ages, female and male alike. It's very humbling must say.
