  1. Thats weird 17 points is massive
  2. identical... All but the juma seeding for mountain bike races for me has been SA Seeding.
  3. ha ha I thought they gave the same seeding ???? Just a different place to look ????
  4. awesome great perspective ...Are we riding kyalami the opposite way around if we going up the mineshaft ?
  5. And I promised myself I wasn't going to do just that ????...nuff said ????
  6. Geez the first 94 riders am amazed.
  7. Thanks for the vote of confidence dude ????
  8. my point exactly . So what are front guys of e looking at ?
  9. Noob question : who knows from experience that you will do a sub 3 at 94.7 and did you do the carnival city race and what was your time. The reason I ask: if I am miles off would rather enjoy the event instead at a decent pace than kill myself. And so be it if I do a 3:15 or what ever. For reference I did a 3hr 08 at carnival ...

  11. Damn there is a lot of hubbers in e batch 15 of us! When I see who is in d just ahead of us I wonder how I got pit in e... Maybe the r4v seeding isn't a true reflection and was over seeded.
  12. Damn don't want a sub 3 that badly ????
  13. Am also in e but not sure how easy a sub 3hr will be. If the front guys are 2 strong for those aiming at a sub 3 just...you could get left with only a few guys. I for one am going to try and get to the front 15% of my batch.. But am not going to burn all my matches trying to stay with the guys up front if the pace is to hot . As everybody has said save some for the last 1/3 of the race. I don't mind climbing and probably my strongest suit, but you can't climb if you have used yours legs. Probably just need a bit of luck as well am sure.
  14. not implying that at all, just curious. Didn't give it a 2nd thought during the race. And bedside he did a bit of work of front so wasn't trying to hide away. Merely just an observation .

  16. Am sure we never passed him ,but he came from behind ? So how does that work?
  17. We had a guy from Vb with us... 2nd group cl. I think I first saw him just after the junction 4 way stop or thereabouts. Never thought anything of it untill reading this ...
  18. No faaaarrkking ways. Am gobsmacked . Must have serious self confidence issues .... Tw@t
  19. on the money. In between the pain he was applying to my groin & back,he was telling me there was a breakaway of about 12 guys . Which they closed down,he was hanging on and had to get back on twice I think he said. Also said Nolan Hoffman did a fair bit of the chasing himself. Very diffrent perspective and so interesting talking to him.
