on a cotic steel frame ????on my road bike is just under a 2h30 when pushing a bit. I would have to do 2h45 + to survive 2 laps ???? Then a 2:14????....I'd say good training .

Been struggling flu / bronchitis & fatigue for the last 3 weeks. Finally caught up with me on last Wednesday . Now am on antibiotics and nebulizer and been banned for 10 days. Am so gutted & pi$$ed of with myself that I didn't listen to my body earlier. Could of saved myself a fair few days instead . Listen to your body we think we bullet proof, but surprise surprise we not. So had to miss emperors palace race this wkd and am hoping to do tour of Durban . Really don't want to miss that . But if not ready will have to. When you sick or run down you have to listen .

i think the wind split most groups up in that race. Was tough conditions.

you'll be amazed what a year can do. My first road race was the tour of Durban almost exactly a year ago. Have improved gradually over the year...stick at it and put in the Km's. You'll be amazed ,well done on today ????

Dude I have thought about it a few times whilst doing my 1 st lap & then been to tired to attempt it. Need to learn to back of and pace myself. But doing it by yourself is also a tough ask. I'll attempt it soon ???? Kudos to a double lap ????Not something everyone can do ????

sbr is always a rude awakening the first you ride it. For me personally I find it tough. There's never much respite,it's mostly either up or down . And as you found out pretty fast & tricky when its points down. If they saw you fall that's pretty k@k not to make sure you still alive ????. How do you know they were pro's ? I suffer everytime I go there and question my sanity. So I know it's tough,but was thinking whilst riding there today. How tough? How do the top riders rate it ? Not pro's but seasoned team riders . Poor form on the guys if they saw you crash ????????
