  1. Firstly don't go to mikes bikes he will tell you plain and simply you a chop for buying a Scott .once his finished insulting you he will tell you to take it back to the agents his an arrogant twit . Try tool up cycles in centurion they are the best guys I have ever delt with. I had a 910 like yours the creaking sound was coming from a hair line crack in the chainstay on the drive side a few centimeters back from the BB. I broke 3 chain stays in the same place ,eventually i sold the bike .
  2. That's the problem mm cycles they are always keen to sell ,but don't try bothering them when things go wrong you will a big arrogant slap
  3. This post must have been started by those baggy shorts guys with their loose fitting oversize shirts covering up their fatt boeps ,based on what you guys look like no wonder you can only ride the spruit
  4. Can sell you a new rm 970 for 45k please SMS me if you interested 083 2681628 have a large and medium 2014 models
  5. The one and only shop is tool up cycles in centurion they are Rocky Mountain dealers and are the best mechanics I have ever met .012 661 1661 FYI Rocky Mountain uses a concept called Angular bushing concept in that the only place you will find an actual bearing is in the main pivot bolt all other ares use nylon bushes that need to be removed once a year and just cleaned and refitted NEVER EVER USE ANY FORM OF LUBRICATION ?
  6. Best lbs in town ,these guys are capable of sorting out forks and shocks best service I have ever got
  7. Based on the line this looks like a crack you should have it xrayed
  8. I broke mine 3 times pro bike were great I got sorted out within a week my advise when it's fixed sell it and move on
  9. Don't take it the chainstay will crack I would look at the giant
  10. I would be cautious had a 2013 910 and broke the chain stay 3 times there's too much lateral movement in the lower pivot
  11. Ok guys i had the 2013 Scott pro carbon frame and alu chainstay I broke 2 alu chain stays Scott were great and gave me a carbon chain stay thinking this guys sorted only to do berg and bush last year and broke the carbon one .I weigh 80kg so it's not a weight issue if anyone is wondering.the problem is there is lateral movement within the main pivot causing the resulting force to crack on the weld or snap on the carbon, unfortunately this problem can only be resolved by a redesign
