  1. This kid must be something special seeing he's got his own fret on Le Hub. Nino, Julien and Jaro can't even compete with that. The internet is going to break if this kid becomes 2019 XCO world champ. Admin, I think you need to upgrade your infrastructure before 28 Aug 2019. This fret will bring the system down.
  2. All I need is F.R.A.I.L Cement + my 80's WINDBREAKER and this race will be a breeze.
  3. http://results.finishtime.co.za/Results.aspx?CId=35&RId=2697&EId=1 Wow, the results look pretty for the 65... How did the prize giving go? Could they actually get the correct riders up on the podium?
  4. And even if you stop each activity and upload 8 different distinct activities you will only be awarded points for one of them. So 600 it is.
  5. Jip. ONE x 3hrs @ 60% is what the RULE states, not 2 X 1.5hrs @ 60% or 8 X 22min30sec @ 60%.
  6. Think it is on the Discovery side. Waiting for a Polar activity to pull through.
  7. Just a random post to get that post count up. #1000 #keeponposting
  8. Vetseun, what GPS unit did you use and did you experience any navigational issues?
  9. Thanks Buffallo. I guess some of the secondary battery packs were to keep GPS units going? I saw some photos of riders with at least 4 battery packs taped to their frames.
  10. Dankie Vetseun! What did you do wrt lighting? Did you have backup batteries for each night in the wild? I have an ExtremeLights Endurance that can do 200 lumen for 40hrs and 750 lumen for 10hrs. I guess the 200 lumens won't surfice in the middle of the Karoo?
  11. Okay. So. It seems you are allowed to go off route and rejoin where you see fit. No penalties incurred by some individuals. This is if the above are the official results. Said individuals may have had issues with their trackers I guess.
  12. Mêh mêh, mêh
  13. Okay. Who is in for 2018?
  14. He already went off route just before Ceres and did not self-correct. Finsher, Non-finisher? Same goes for the Horton's as well.
  15. Some tracker issues I guess... JOC, Medic 2 and Medic 3 also did 1071.4km
  16. For sure. Imagine crossing the finish line just to be told you have been DQ'ed. Hopefully that won't be the case.
  17. Will JH just incur a 1.5hr penalty and bar nothing else goes wrong and they finish before 10:30AM still be seen as a ligit finisher or should they have turned around and rejoined the route where they made the mistake? Hopefully it is a time penalty at most and not a DQ for these guys.
  18. Eish. It seems the Horton's and Ryno de Kock took the right turn at Bo-Swaarmoed Rd and then a left on the R46. What happens if you took the "wrong" route but still ended up covering the full 1071km?
  19. Lekker taito! Well done guy.
  20. Baie geluk Vetseun. Dit wil gedoen word.
  21. I see the Loxton population has doubled with all the Mungas there. Vetseun gooi-ing a party in Loxton!
