A lot of those cyclists come from the East of Pretoria or Centurion area. We did the Cow&Bull training ride earlier this year and that gave us 90km of gravel from the east of Pta (Grootfontein mtb park) through Baps and back again. I cannot recall ever riding on private property. I'll share a gpx with you and you can just plan your route accordingly.

I have entered the 85 but like you say, info a bit scarce. Still waiting for a GPX to be provided as it is mentioned that the route won't be marked. Only 2 water points in that 85km is also a concern. But, I'll line up in Grootfontein and enjoy some gravel travel with the mates.

A shorter route is a brilliant plan! Not everybody can ride in the Pro-Am World Champs and complete a 109km race. A shorter route gives more people a chance to experience what 'racing' is about and also experience the scenery and atmosphere. I am all for a shorter route.

Is the 96.3 (aka 94.7) a seeded event for CTCT? Seeing as they not using the same timing company.
