  1. As route builder I would like you to answer the following please. 46km to short? Where would you like to increase the distance, beginning, or middle or last flat part. How much climbing would you guys like there to be 1350 , 1400, 1500? Would like your input on these questions to build the route and single track to your liking. Please let me know Thanx Louis
  2. Realy BrandonF . Please , the guy who came second was Nicol Carstens from Slanghoek. He is a great rider who has SA colours for xco. He is sponcerd by BMC . He is only 18 years old.

  4. 7 training weekends left. Where or at what distance of training would you say should one be at this stage.
  5. Franschhoek porcupine mtb race. Did the 53km event. Long long accents and scary decents that's a little bit technical.
  6. Just wondering how many of us thought about the "wrong " nipples ? He he he
  7. I take this past weekend as example. R180 for 42km. For me it is R1800 for 8 development guys under my wing and my wife and I. That's only entry fee. Went to Eselfontein in Ceres insted and R300 for the day permit, that's R30 per person riding . Ride where you want for how long you want. Feul and distance to both veneus are the same.
  8. I took my development farm worker mtb team to Eselfontein outside Ceres, this morning as some of them missed last years event. Lize and I and 8 guys. After the first 15km back at the farm house one guy, JB picked up a flat. He had to stay behind because he didn't had a spare tube and the other guys bikes ran with shrader valves. We then were gone for a while doing "deadman walking". Deon came out on our return to the farm and chatted a bit. Then we were off again to do the "Blair witch forrest" again. Deon Malherbe gave the guy JB, left by us at the farm a full suspension 26" mtb to join us on our last round and 2 tubes to repair his bike once home. Then his jump on his scrambler and guided JB to where he could see us and follow towards us. He (JB) went really hard down the hill and caugt some of the guys in the forrest. I would like to take time and thank Deon Malherbe owner of Eselfontein for this great gesture. Thank you very much Deon from all of us.
  9. Thanx Cippo. Use not sell. But I catch your drift.
  10. Hi guys and gals. Just got a Flash 1 with an Opi lefty. Would like to hear your suggestions on which computer do you use
  11. Hi Slowbee. How is your training coming along. ? We do short 30kms twice weekly (or try to) in evenings and a 120kms + on sundays. We both work on sat so only sundays are open for long rides. Wife works at Du Tiotskloof cellar and I build mtb routes and tracks during own time. How long do the long rides have to be ? 120 or 150 or 200?
  12. Hoor nou eers daarvan. Dis baie tragies.
  13. On the smoking , all I can say is be strong and stay strong. I never started but know how difficult it can get. Believe you can and shall have success

  17. Ons gaan haar beslis trap. Dankie Vaalkol. Kan ek van my ontwikkeling ryers saam bring? As ek self sorg vir etes vir hulle kan ons praat oor inskrywingsfooi? Fooi is 'n bietjie taai vir hulle. As jy nie kan nie, ek verstaan. Louis
