    Yip. There is, Infinity, there is about 4 good riders but they struggle to keep his wheel and rely on others in the bunch as well. If they let him go they won't see him again and will be riding for 2nd or 3rd place. He doesn't surge off the front or attack so it's easier for guys to follow his wheel. No one in Cat 3 has the power his has, if they attack its won't last long as he will just close it down.

    Atlantis will be the same. I think this years routes suits sprinters more than climbers.

    I have just been on the bridge about 30 minutes ago. There was a Spar delivery scooter standing on the side and a Uber on the off ramp from the N1 inbound. I managed to chat to the guy on the scooter, he got robbed of his phone. The Uber was in discussion with 3 others and point down to the hokkies, Im assuming he got robbed as well.

    Went for a test drive a bit earlier and the bridge looked busy with traffic. Few guys on the side walk and even though there are plenty of people around they decided to try and rob 2 guys on 1 scooter. Luckily the passenger turned and saw him coming and the car behind attempted to knock him. Looks like a youngster. Doesn't look like they care who is around.

    Chat to Sue on 0835789375, Let her know that you have requested to move to Cat 3 but the said they were full. Ask them again if its possible. I have downgraded before so its possible.

    Who ever crashed seemed ok when we came through. The Machine in red is a SA TT champ in his age cat, he could easily ride Cat 2 as well.

    Im going to agree with Frosty. You shouldn't need motivation to go ride your bike. There are times I want to race my bike, commute (Which I do most days) & or just ride straight for a good cup of coffee. I dont talk much while riding, probably because I just enjoying being on my bike or any bike. If you just want to ride your bike do it for the love of it and dont set goals (well I think you dont need to). I love racing so my goal is to just improve, ive got someone that coaches me, I have seen the benefit in it, less time on the bike and better quality rides. Knowing at the end of the day that I want to improve is my motivation, my motivation to get up early and complete my intervals even if its cold or raining.

    You definitely wont be the 1st to come with a steel bike to Cat3. Hope you enjoy it.

    You can downgrade, the prices for cat 2 and 3 are the same. Dont worry about the mileage.
